What is now known as Central Bank of Missouri is deeply rooted in service to our community and the surrounding area. The bank was established over 100 years ago in 1891, by a group of progressive Smithton citizens and named it The Smithton Bank. This bank was established on the principal that people mattered and service made the difference. This tradition was continued by Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Robinson when they purchased the bank in 1971. The bank was later officially renamed Central Bank of Missouri in 1982, with the

expansion of a new main facility at 1601 S. Limit Ave. in Sedalia. The bank was later purchased by Warren County Bancshares in 1999. In 2005 we opened our, newest, fullservice branch in Columbia, Missouri. The philosophy that people matter and service still makes the difference continues today. Central Bank of Missouri continues to offer excellent personal service and is a leader in information technology, which keeps our customers connected all over the world 24/7 via the Web.
