+ MORE!

fir st thin gs fir st Hey, I’m Ryan. Like everyone else, I’ve been bored out of my mind in this lockdown so I thought I’d try making a zine for the first time and interview some friends about what they’re up to in these weird times. Massive thanks to anyone in this, especially those I reached out to and didn’t know before asking. Hopefully this makes your day a little more interesting while we’re all trapped inside. Maybe I’ll make another one at some point. Peace.

Ryan Mannin g (guy who made this) So, who are you and what do you do? My names Ryan, I’m a photographer at The Joiners and I play guitar in a band called Pleasantries. And apparently make zines now.

How has your life changed due to the virus? A fair bit tbh. Right now I should’ve just finished my first european tour as a photographer as well as preparing my final project for uni. Tour obviously got cancelled and my whole degree show has too, so my remaining uni assignments are a bit of a mess of essays and writing about “what we would have done”. I’m back home anyway with my parents which is nice, but I can already feel cabin fever kicking in. Pleasantries were meant to record our debut two track so we can show people we actually sound like Touché Amoré, but that’ll come later in the year I guess.

How are you killing the time? A24 films and Hearthstone, along with Xbox like everyone else. I bought Rare Replay to deal with staying in like a month back and playing Banjo Kazooie has been sick. Put a couple covers on a soundcloud account too which was pretty fun even though I can’t really sing. Reading a lot of books too, White Fang could be my new favourite. Also the Anthony Kiedis autobiography is wild. Making this as well has taken up a lot of my time but it’s been cool to put my all into something creative in these weird times. Hope everyone is staying safe during all this.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? great during this Surpsingly apart from one or two nights my mental health has been pretty for everyone. lockdown, which I feel very thankful and lucky for as I know its not the same watching a lot of Talking to mates online (Jacob from Plead’s pub quiz was a highlight) and after all this so I’m hate5six has got me excited for shows again,. I got tickets for Viagra Boys everything to everyone hoping that still goes ahead. Staying busy and talking about anything and has been the most calming though. Whats the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? Really been dying for a day of skating in the sun and visiting some mates in London when this is all over. Mostly the simple stuff tbh like go to town and just for for coffee with people, but also serious stuff like finding a graduate job lmao.

What are you listening to right now? That new Drain LP is probably gunna be one of my AOTY’s, but also I’ve been listening to The Internet, Nudie Mag, Anxious, Hum, Somerset Thrower, Candy and Free The Birds (Brendan from Turnstiles new EP). Also Jonny’s PC4PC podcast.

Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Live videos of Glitterer constantly crack me up, dude needs to get a backing band when we’re allowed outside. Also I think Warning might actually be my favourite Green Day album.

Jonny Pipes (Realm of Torment) So, who are you and what do you do? My name’s Jonny, I play guitar / post garbage on twitter / band babysitter / tour manager.

How has your life changed due to the virus? I’m currently having to work from home on my laptop via remote software, with the only place I can sit being my kitchen, which isn’t ideal living with 5 others (only 1 of them is still working) who don’t make it easy at times shall we say. I’m also a football coach and studying a Masters in the field, so everything going on has turned the rest of the season / my degree on its head imminently for both worse and better in varying aspects. I now have more time to do my work, but also having to rethink how I can conduct a final research project while no football is allowed to be played and people are stuck indoors… How are you killing the time? Not THAT much has changed for me really, I’m always super busy and give myself too much to chew so I’ve not had the chance to get bored or anything. The first two weeks of lockdown I had a group presentation hand-in with other members living in Korea and Malta, which was as time consuming as you’d imagine. I’ve got two more hand-ins left over the coming months so I’m trying to spend the rest of the time psyching myself up to push on with the rest. I’ve also spent the last 5 days tanning on a hammock in the garden, starting to think a lockdown society might be the one for me honestly. What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? The extra free time working at home and not travelling to work has allowed me to relax for once to be honest, as I’m always doing something outside of work. Though it’s allowed me to get back into a regularly running routine sooner than planned, do home workouts my gym is sharing, and re-opened the possibility of a two year old idea I’m deliberating again which may or may not finally come to light. Some weeks before lockdown we’d also started getting early riff / song ideas together for new Realm stuff, so we’ve been trying to negotiate around that. Every song to date was written on guitar with everything else chucked into it at practice, but we’ve already got the start of one song coming together from a drum idea. There are positives in the madness. Whats the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? I will be sprinting to New Generation Martial Arts the first day it’s open begging someone to kick me in the back of the head, followed by a post workout Thrive seitan chicken burger. I will probably also be getting Andy to sort me out a proper haircut as the way things are going, I’m going to be doing something potentially stupid to my hair. I’ll soon be looking like 16-year-old me refusing to cut his hair.

04

What are you listening to right now? Off the top of my head I’ve been going through the Circa Survive discography, Azriel, early Dizzee Rascal & Kanye West, For.Her.I.Can.Be.A.Hero, Linkin Park / Jay-Z split, Knuckledust, Stampin’ Ground, Mac Miller, Ambush!, Rolo Tomassi. Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? As awful as the situation is right now, there has never been a better time to focus on yourself and what you want to do, and even if you don’t know or can’t do EXACTLY what you want to do, you really do have the time now to figure things out (even if it’s not all going come right away) and run with whatever it is once life is back to normal (as normal as it can potentially be). Use this time wisely and do something worthwhile like this zine, don’t spend every moment of your days playing video games.

Ta zz Edwa rds (Plea d.) So, who are you and what do you do? Tazz and I try to play drums in plead. How has your life changed due to the virus? We found ourselves in a pretty strong position a few months ago. We’d finished up our schedule for shows and had started work on new material. Jacob (guitar) and Gisby (bass) had finished up a bunch of tracks which we were going to collectively finish and add drums and vocals etc but since everyone is on lockdown, we’re stuck with a bunch of music that needs to be finished up but we have no way to do that currently, it’s frustrating for sure. We were all stoked on how the new tracks are sounding and just want to work on them in our spare time but we can’t right now. How are you killing the time? I’ve been playing a lot more guitar recently. I don’t have access to any drums anywhere which is a huge pain but it’s let me get the old riff stick out u know? That and playing the most elite Resident Evil game, the fifth one obviously.

What are you listening to right now? I’ve recently discovered this Math-Emo band who have been blowing my mind called Good Game. They have this song called Cheating The NASA Space Physical and it is the most nuts song and it’s bewildering to see they only have around 3000 listeners on Spotify or whatever. The rest of the band (plead.) make fun of me for being a massive weeb, but we all know they’re just mad cause they can’t play those mad cool twinkly riffs, you know?

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? I am definitely not staying sane, I’ve been trying to learn a new riff a day and let people guess on Instagram, people are just guessing darude sandstorm and wonderwall, so that’s going well. Also currently deciding if I should waste my money on a switch because I seem to be the only person in the U.K. without one right now, or buy an obnoxious guitar pedal I don’t actually need.

Some other new cool releases: Highway Sniper - Greatest Hits Chamer - Ivy Elvis Depressedly - Depressedelica Dogleg - Melee Also Slayers South of Heaven record has made its way back into non stop rotation.

05

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? Disposable BBQ’s in the sun, some Linda’s, some lads and a couple of bevs, mate. The dream!

Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Don’t feel like you have to do anything! People are getting mad heavy on the whole “Be productive with this free time!” - if you want to use your time to chill and enjoy some video games or just watch Netflix, then do it.

So, who are you and what do you do? I’m Christy and I play in Splitknuckle, Mount Doom, Getaway and Stages In Faith.

What are you listening to right now? Luther Vandross live at Wembley.

virus? theyou do? How has whattodo you anddue arechanged wholife So,your to go into Tesco’s standing metres apart is still people seeing just sure, for now Life is strange Tazz and I try to play drums in plead. queue so surreal to me. But that’s what it is now. Life was better before this shit hit the fan, but there’s no point stressing about things we can’t control. Theres no shows no nothing at the moment, the whole music scene has hit rock bottom. But where do you go once you’ve hit rock bottom? The only way is up. Every day that goes by, whether it gets worse or better, is still one day closer to this whole thing ending. We can look forward to that but in the mean time just adapt to the situation at hand. How are you killing the time? I would comfortably say anyone who is into music right now is definitely using this time to write some new stuff. It’s exactly what I’m doing, we probably wouldn’t ever get a time like this for it again.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? I’d like to think of myself as a balanced person who is able to clearly understand when the trappings of my generation don’t apply to me...but sitting in a pub in your mates isn’t one of them.

06

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? I’m not exactly offering any game up on lock down hacks but being open with your family, SKC chats on Houseparty, exercising every day if possible and losing myself in Logic Pro for a bit are the main ones. The people and things I am truly thankful for continue to show themselves to me despite everything and that keeps me going. Another thing keeping me sane is knowing that we are all new to this. A lot of people may put themselves forward as quarantine experts but really no one knows what they’re doing. There’s no perfect way to navigate it. Personally, it’s my first opportunity to step off of the hamster wheel and take things slow, if there’s a few rough days in trying to adapt it’s worth it.

Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Take your time, use this as an opportunity to learn something new and do that thing you’ve been meaning/always wanted to do. If its not possible from home then put plans in place for when this is all over. Don’t drink too much or become reliant on substances to fill your time, focus on your health....exercise and try to eat good!!

So, who are you and what do you do? I’m Josh and I play bass in Watch Me Die. How has your life changed due to the virus? On the band perspective it’s delayed our recording of the new record which we’ve been waiting to do for a while which sucks, another blow is our show with Your Demise also got postponed to September so we just got to wait now and wait for normality before doing anything again so it’s all about being patient. On a personal side it’s hit me pretty hard, I’m a type 1 diabetic and I live with my Nan who’s nearly 80 years old so I haven’t been at work for a while or even left the house so I don’t catch the virus. It’s hard when trying to get essentials but we’re getting by thankfully thanks to friends and family members. How are you killing the time? Football Manager, Xbox and I’ve been watching a lot of ECW/WWF PPV’s haha and a combination with a lot of other TV shows which I’ve been recommended so if anyone wants a show I’d say check out Hunters on Amazon Prime.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? It’ll be seeing my mum before anything cause I haven’t seen her in weeks and it really sucks, after that back to normal life with work seeing my friends again etc. Get in the studio and record this EP which we’ve been excited for a while about and attending/playing shows again.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? This is quite tough question because I think this will be affecting people differently, I’ve been trying to just stick to a routine each day and keep myself busy really, a lot of house work is getting done as well. Just got to keep going really knowing that in the end we can all see our friends and loved ones again. What are you listening to right now? My music taste is a bit of everything so it’s a long list haha. I’ve like re-listened to some older stuff like: Nas - Illmatic Biggie - Ready To Die The Starting Line - Say It Like You Mean It Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory Incubus - Morning View

In terms of new stuff Drain - California Cursed Revulsion - Enough To Bleed Koyo - Painting Words Into Lines Three Knee Deep - TKD Big Cheese - Punishment Park

There’s also a new Phoebe Bridgers song called Kyoto which is amazing that came out the other day and a new Static Dress song called Safeword which is also great. All these bands have vinyl releases of the records out now so I encourage people to pick them up and support labels / bands while there are no shows (QCHQ, Triple B, Rev and The Coming Strife).

07

Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Stay inside and stay safe. It’s a scary place in the world right now and if everyone listens we will beat this and come out stronger, do the right thing and only leave the house if it’s for work, essential food or exercise. A huge shoutout to all the NHS workers and key workers in this time, they’re the biggest heroes through this and deserve all the credit.

) So, who are you and what do you do? I’m Seb, I play drums in Stages in Faith, Mourning and Ingrained. How has your life changed due to the virus? Honestly, life feels a bit meaningless right now. Obviously gigs and whatnot aren’t happening, Mourning/Payback tour that was due to happen in May is cancelled and we had some new tracks recorded that just needed vocals, not sure when those will be ready now which sucks because I love those songs and was excited to get them out ASAP. I was teaching drums at a school in my area which isn’t happening now either, but I’m still working at Tesco. The combination of PPE not being made mandatory and social distancing being basically impossible gets me anxious sometimes but I’m glad to still have a job when so many people I know are out of work right now, it’s a weird one. How are you killing the time? Like I said I’ve still been at work, besides that just chillin and trying to keep in contact with people. Planning to drop a new Stages song at some point. Surprisingly not watched that much on Netflix yet but Tiger King was insanity. Been gaming more, and drumming. Hopefully when this ends I’ll be better at double bass lol.

What are you listening to right now? Lord Finesse - The Awakening.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? My drums for sure. If I couldn’t play I don’t know what I’d do. Also that meme of those blokes dancing whilst carrying a casket- phenomenal.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? Party like it’s 1999 baby I’m trying to enter the 5th dimension.

Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Don’t feel shitty about not being productive. Listen to Mastermind and Lawful Killing.

08

Dev Pla ce (Photog rapher) So, who are you and what do you do? I’m a photographer specialising in music. I’ve spent the last few years since graduating uni working with music labels, ticket sites, festivals, media corporations and artists as a PR/media specialist and creative director. How has your life changed due to the virus? The virus has of course caused work to slow down, with the cancellation of all upcoming events. As a freelancer, this is incredibly stressful as the next source of income is unclear. Festival season is my busiest time of year normally, and at the moment, it doesn’t look like anything will be going ahead. So basically, I’m broke, can’t see my loved ones, and am struggling to find a ‘substitute’ job for the time being, as very few places are hiring or even open right now. Those that are are receiving huge amounts of applications. How are you killing the time? I’ve forced myself to exercise everyday. I put on a live set and basically mosh and do weights in my bedroom for the entirety of that set. I’ve also taken to giving my record collection more love. It’s nice to have the time to sit down and just listen to an album start to finish. I’ve also been attempting to keep the creative juices flowing, so I’ve set up a print store of my photography for music fans and also tried to keep capturing interesting images out of anything I find on my walks.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? I just can’t wait to have some normality of income to be honest. I will have my camera constantly attached to my being. I think it’s going to be a long time until we see large music events allowed again. But I really can’t wait to go to a show again. I kind of want to break a limb or something at my first show back... I’m also looking forward to supporting some great small businesses again such as vegan eateries and I’ll be glad to finally be able to get my tattoo appointments booked in again that had to be cancelled due to this.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? Definitely having my guitar to sit and mess about on. I’m also enjoying cooking even more, making elaborate vegan meals out of the scraps I’ve been neglecting out the back of my cupboard. What are you listening to right now? My quarantine playlist is consisting of my vinyl collection so we’ve got a nice mix of old and new. Deftones, Have Heart, Thursday, Enter Shikari, Holding Absence, Earth Moves, Chiodos, Caspian, Bastions. Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? It’s easy to be frustrated at the situation and it’s really easy to slip into a dark place. I think now is a great time to try and work on our individual motivation and set some goals for ourselves. For me personally it’s been trying to lose weight and exercise everyday. I’m also using this time to fulfil all those creative projects I just haven’t got round to before. I know it’s easy to let boredom make you down; I’ve been really struggling with it. Try your best to make the most of this free time. Check in with your friends, too.

09

Perry Wa ttis (Cauld ron /Suppress) So, who are you and what do you do? I’m Perry, I play bass in Cauldron and Suppress. How has your life changed due to the virus? I’ve been fairly lucky. I still have to go to work everyday and I’m living with my girlfriend. That being said not being able to socialise with my friends and family sucks and I miss shows so badly. Super gutted Cauldron can’t make it to Canada to play Wild Rose, was looking forward to playing with some of my favourite bands. How are you killing the time? Killing time for me at the moment is just working, exercising and playing a shit tonne of games. Especially Animal Crossing its so addictive and rocks honestly.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? Man when this is over I just wanna hang out with my friends, play and attend a shit tonne of shows and hopefully record some new material. Also a holiday would be nice but we will see.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? I think the only thing thats keeping me grounded is being with my girlfrien d she’s been super great. But also having to work 5 days a week is getting me out of the house so thats a plus. What are you listening to right now? Right now I’ve got the new Drain record and the new Typecaste record on repeat. Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? For anyone reading this really just stay safe, stay indoors and make sure to get plenty of exercise and stay in touch with friends and family via social media or whatever is easiest.

10

Ha rry Steel (Videog rapher) So, who are you and what do you do? My name is Harry Steel, I work in the tv industry in Bristol and make music videos and paint as a side hustle. How has your life changed due to the virus? I’ve always enjoyed my own company, so it hasn’t been too difficult in that sense. I just miss hanging out down the boozer with pals, ya know? How are you killing the time? Mostly watching old football highlights to fill the spherical void in my life. Oh and I’m rewatching LOST.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? Painting or writing or just doing anything remotely creative. Keeps the brain ticking over nicely. What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? BOOOZER. What are you listening to right now? I’m really into Terror Twilight by Pavement at the moment, that record proper slaps. Also a lot of The Replacements and Guided By Voices. Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? I wonder what Tazz Edwards is up to?

11

Dan Melizan (Callous Record s/Hollow Life Record s/about 50 projects) So, who are you and what do you do? My name’s Dan. The main thing I do is run Callous Records, a mostly screamo based label I’ve been running for a little over 2 years now, but I’m also involved in a number of other projects. I have a smaller label called Hollow Life that exists purely to release hardcore and punk from my local scene in Bristol and the surrounding areas, and I also do tape duplication and artwork printing for a number of bands and labels in the UK. How has your life changed due to the virus? Initially not much to be honest, I’m classed as a key worker and my work had trouble getting equipment for everyone to work from home so life felt pretty normal. I did have a few gigs I was meant to be playing/putting on that all got cancelled and I really miss playing music and hanging with my mates. I ended up getting about 9 days off between my work closing the offices and giving me a laptop to work from home and now I’m just working every day in my spare room.

Music wise I play in a few bands and have loads of solo projects listed here: Say Nothing (drums) - big vibes emo POOR (vocals) - antifascist powerviolence bayonetté (drums) - queer punk Frankie Delta (drums) - ‘commercial’ punk old pride (everything) - slowcore/screamo tension (everything) - big vibes punk Granite Maul (everything) - harsh noise Wild Heart (vocals) - proper screamo How are you killing the time? I’ve been playing loads of old school Runescape recently. For those who know, I’ve more than doubled my bank from 20m-45m in like a month and gained about 6m total xp. A friend of mine also set up a Minecraft server which has been great. I did write a couple punk releases under the name Tension but I think I burnt out most of my creativity by releasing 9 songs across 3 demos in 8 days haha.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? I’m gonna be a fucking mad cunt and put on a show with all of my active bands. If all goes to plan I’ll be playing 6 sets in a night, 3 on drums, one on vocals, one doing guitar + vocals and one of just harsh noise. I might die. You should come watch it. What are you listening to right now? I’ve had Self Defense Family on repeat the past few days. Cowboy emo forever! Their back catalogue is pretty huge, especially if you include the days when they were called End of a Year and their transition period when they were called End of a Year/Self Defense Family. Aside from them I’ve been catching up on some friends bands new releases. My mate’s band Gimic just released their first demo and it’s super cool, abrasive but catchy punk.

12

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? Mostly Runescape to be honest, but only just. I fucking love that game. Maybe as much as I love screamo. Maybe not. I’ve started cycling and walking recently just to get out the house and I never thought I’d say this but the highlight of my day is having to drop off and pick up my girlfriend from her work because I get to go outside (if only to the car). Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Most of my friends are creatives, and I assume a lot of people reading this will be too. I’ve seen some posts recently saying ’this is your opportunity to better yourself, be creative, spend time on your art blah blah blah’ and I think yeah if you have the inspiration and motivation then go for it! But don’t let yourself get into that mindset where you beat yourself up for not being productive. If you can’t find the motivation then just chill out and play games or go for a walk or whatever! You’re not any less good at being a creative just because you’re not doing your art. Just try and have fun!

Ben Campion-Bye (Vakora/Repla cer) So, who are you and what do you do? Yo, I’m Ben and I play guitar in Replacer, and bass in Vakora. How has your life changed due to the virus? Not majorly to be honest, just in need of the pub and gigs again.

How are you killing the time? Still working, all day everyday as the demand is there currently.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? Honestly work, I think I’d be going batshit if not for it.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? Go to the pub and a gig. What are you listening to right now? Jamming straight Architects, Counterparts and Northlane at the moment. Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Stay the fuck inside unless you have to go out, this is way more serious that you realise.

13

Adam Cox (Producer/ S cold s/Diabolus) So, who are you and what do you do? I’m Adam Cox and I’m producer at ACO Studios in Andover and play guitar in both Scolds & Diabolus. How has your life changed due to the virus? Life has changed as I no longer can record with people in the room or go out to other studios to record artists, no band practise, no gigs. So yeah, life has changed quite a bit more than i’m used to! How are you killing the time? I’ve been doing a lot of songwriting, finished 7 songs for various projects and Scolds have an upcoming release that has been keeping me busy on the marketing side of things. Had a couple of cool mixes to do some work on!

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? production techniques, (i’ve really gotten Mostly playing xbox, writing songs, learning new facetiming friends and family. I’ve also been into sample production the last couple of weeks), Depravity which has been great fun, that doing a cover over the internet with Connor from should be out very soon! What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? There are so many things i want to do to be honest! Seeing my Girlfriend is definitely a priority, but I want to see my friends, go to a show, record a band. Anything to do would be great haha! A haircut is also something I have to attend to ASAP. What are you listening to right now? Darko US just dropped a debut single on YouTube and I haven’t stopped spinning it. New Enter Shikari has been great too as well as a lot of nostalgic music I listened to in school like: Bullet For My Valentine, Audioslave, Trivium, to name a few. Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? I’ve found the best way to beat the lack of motivation people get from being home in quarantine, is to find a new skill to learn or refine an old one you always intended on improving, it’s been amazing sharing what I’ve made with my friends and see what they’ve done with all this free time. Stay home, stay safe.

Ewa n D u n lop (D resden / Ple a s a n

tr ies)

So, who are you and what do you do? I’m Ewan and I do vocals for Dresden and I also play bass for Pleasantries *wink wink*. How has your life changed due to the virus? To be completely honest not much has changed, I’m still spending most of time inside and playing video games but I do miss going out, going to band practice, going to maccies, and buying alcohol, it’s kind of funny because I used to hate going out. For the band it’s been a bit worse, a lot of the shows that we were looking forward to playing have been postponed or cancelled flat out so I think it’s a tough time for every band. How are you killing the time? I’m trying to stay productive, I’m trying to write songs, do uni work and work on my graphic design but usually I just end up binge watching stuff on Netflix, also me and the other members have been sitting in calls, trying to keep each other entertained but I think one of us will lose the plot soon.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? I think that I know it’s going to end at some point and that this is all for the best plus the idea of being able to go back out and be with friends and play music. I’ve also been playing a shit ton of Minecraft, me and Joe have built like four villages since we’ve been on lockdown

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? Definitely hit the pub 100 percent, that’s the only place I’m going to be for a solid week when we’re allowed back out and then go the next available show and spin kick some kids, even if its like an indie show.

What are you listening to right now? At the moment I’m currently spinning A lot of Malevolence, their new songs just go so fucking hard. One Step Closer; makes me feel like I’m discovering hardcore again, Boston Manor, the new singles are really exciting and I’m hyped for the new album, Code Orange, the new album is insane and its definitely the future of heavy music. Guilt Trip, stuff to beat your nan up to and Static Dress, they only have a handful of songs out and its some of the best music I’ve heard in a while. This is kind of what I’m vibing the most at this moment in time but it changes a lot. Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Yo Fuck Carole Baskin, big up all my boys who I can’t smooch right now, I love you all and we’ve got an EP recorded so people better be ready. PS Check out the Scolds album Lifetaker, check out Lenged Out’s New Single “Nihilus”.

15

So, who are you and what do you do? I’m Cal and I play bass and do backing vocals.

Ca llum Pa rker (Len ged Ou t)

How has your life changed due to the virus? It’s been really shit to be honest I was meant to be in Canada at the start of this month, we’ve had to stop rehearsal and cancel all our shows. We were one more recording session away from finishing up our EP so it really has been gutting. How are you killing the time? I’ve been sweating out animal crossing nonstop, watching OG wrestling and chilling with my dog.

What’s keeping you sane under lockdown? Literally just thinking about playing shows and seeing mates when it’s over.

What’s the first thing you’re planning to do when this shit ends? Straight back into rehearsal and to right now? What are you listening smashing out this EP. ains and Acid Bath! Cauldron, Alice in Ch

Any other quarantine thoughts for anyone reading this? Don’t be a bellend, stay inside and buy n stream our EP Lunaris when it’s out xxx
