After the 2015 conference, 10 Taiwanese and American students bravely stepped forward to administer the third Taiwan-America Student Conference. Lucas Kuo, the newly elected American chair, and Irene Chuang, his Taiwanese counterpar t, teamed up with other passionate TASCers for pro-bono work that would soon become rewarding yet challenging. Although the weather was getting colder, especially in the United States, the students, however, were becoming more passionate about the conference. New and fresh ideas began to arise. Online meetings across the Pacific Ocean were held more frequently despite the time difference. Site coordinators on the Taiwan side were excited to contribute location ideas for the itinerary, and American committee members responded with great enthusiasm.
