Peninsula Players’ Find a New Home Rehearsals are in full swing with cast and crew readying themselves for the Peninsula Players’ newest production – the all-time favourite murder mystery The Mousetrap. Opening night at Mary Winspear Centre is Saturday, November 1st in the Charlie White Theatre. One of Agatha Christie’s most famous offerings, it’s based on a group of strangers stranded by a snow storm in an English manor house owned by a young newlywed couple. A murder takes place, causing both worry and accusation for the guests. A police officer on skis arrives at the house to question the strangers, and they all become suspicious of each other. The audience is treated to a unique surprise ending. The Peninsula Players’ performance, directed by Geoff Davidson and produced by Glen Brown, will be set in 1952, the year of the play’s debut.
