Our focus is on making one beer - a Premium Pilsner that Canadians can be proud of. We believe that world-class results require focus and dedication, so we developed a distinctive recipe for our single brand based on Europe’s renowned brewing standards yet is brewed fresh locally at our independent, Canadian Brewery. We use traditional brewing techniques and only four natural ingredients including spring water, malted barley, hops and yeast - all GMO-free. There is a fifth ingredient in every refreshing bottle, and that is the passion of our dedicated Brewmaster and staff. - The Steam Whistle Team

Shakey 1950s Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Our 1950’s Chevrolet Sedan Delivery, known to us as Shakey, joined the Steam Whistle family in the brewery’s second year. Also known colloquially as a ‘bun wagon’, Shakey was once used to deliver fresh baked bread to households in the 50’s. Our Co-founder, Greg Taylor, tracked this car down in an old fire hall south of Montreal. When asked why the name Shakey was bestowed upon this shining blue beauty Greg will tell you that she shook so much on his five hour highway journey home that he woke up with a sore back the next morning! After her restoration the shaking disappeared but the nickname stayed!

The Steam Machine 1967 Ford Econoline Heavy Duty We reached into the 70’s to create this ScoobyDoo inspired “Steam Machine”. Jordan Young, at one time a member of our design team created these wild graphics for our vintage Ford Econoline Van. The Steam Machine was also outfitted with chrome draught taps for easy pouring at outdoor events. Our Promotions team and event bartenders, are the lucky ones to hold the keys to the Steam Machine. Watch for this rig at one of the hundreds of events we sponsor across Ontario!

Grande Verde 1964 Jeep Wagoner This heavy duty ride was purchased from Long Island, New York and was transformed with a 1987 Jeep Cherokee chassis and the suspension given a 4 inch lift with new springs to accommodate heavy loads of beer. The original engine was replaced with an AMC 360 cubic inch motor, for a more dependable drive. These modifications will ensure this manly yet beautiful rig will be around for many more decades. Grande Verde can be seen cruising the streets of Edmonton driven by local rep, Adam Smith.

Grumpy 1957 Chevrolet Pick Up The side-step ‘57 Chevy is one of the most popular and often collected vintage pick-up trucks. Co-founder Greg Taylor voyaged to the east coast in pursuit of this vintage pick-up that was formerly used to deliver fresh fish and seafood. It’s been fully restored and painted our Steam Whistle green.

Lumpy 1949 International Stake Truck Affectionately nicknamed Lumpy, this 1949 International Stake Truck is now painted our bright Steam Whistle green and sporting shiny chrome wheels. As one of the first additions to our fleet of vintage vehicles, Lumpy has been helping us spread the Good Beer Folks word across Ontario since 2001! You’ll likely see Lumpy at one of the many beer festivals we participate in throughout the year since he has the muscle power to carry up to 3/4 tons of beer!

Chuckles 1956 Dodge Fargo Chuckles was christened with this name for the guaranteed smiles and chuckles that come from any viewer seeing this unique cargo van. You just don’t see many vehicles like Chuckles! A private owner in Richmond Hill, Ontario had done a lot of work on the original vehicle: replacing the engine with a 350 cubic inch small block, adding a turbo transmission, replacing the suspension with a late model Chevy Malibu front clip, rebuilding the floor and frame, and installing a new interior. By the time Chuckles arrived at the brewery she was glistening and ready for loading. Where once this cargo vehicle was used for postal service, Chuckles can now be spotted around the Greater Toronto area delivering fresh kegs and cases of

The Party Bus 1965 Ford BLuebird It was Cam and Greg’s dream to have our own brewery bus to shuttle thirsty drinkers to the brewery for private parties, tours and tastings. Greg began the search a few years back, often stopping roadside in rural Ontario when a rusty rig was spotted. Finally, through the genius of the internet, Greg was able to locate this mint vintage Blue Bird bus in Arizona, perfect for us at half the size. Now groups of 20 are driven to and from the brewery, providing subway shuttle service or private transportation for groups. The Party Bus has been given a new 5.9 litre Cummins International turbo diesel engine, and the 4-speed manual was replaced with an automatic transmission for a smoother ride. The Party Bus rocks it out with a
