Ag Taisteal Tríd Ama: Glacadh an pictiúr seo i 1995 i Jersey. Tá mé fein anseo le mo mhamó agus mo dhaideo. Bhí an óstan galánta fosta. Fuair mé amach ón scoil don dinnéar. Bhí arán againn le hithe, d’ith muid ár sáith. Bhí an lá deas ach ní raibh an aimsear ró dheas acu i nDoire. An lá dar gcionn bhi muid ag obair ar an Ghaeilge ar scoil. Is bréa liom an Ghaeilge agus tá caighdéan ard bainte amach agam sa Ghaeilge. Táim an-bhródúil! Is iad Joe Pewtner agus Sarah Pewtner mo dhaideo agus mhamó. This picture was taken in Jersey in 1945. I'm here with my granny and granda. The hotel was lovely. I was able to leave school for the dinner. We had bread to eat, and we were stuffed. It was a nice day, but the weather wasn't so good in Derry. The day after, we were working on our Irish in school. I love Irish, and I'm doing really well in it. I'm very proud of myself! My granny and granda are Joe and Sarah Pewtner. Caitlín Ní Chonchúir, Rang 6
