Independent Harrold Electrical Calls For Accountability Services Dr. Mark Harrold is the only Independent running in the election in the Dublin North constituency. He is a clinical psychologist who lives in Malahide and is married with two young children. In addition, he wants to introduce a nationwide Stress Control programme to address the intolerable rise of suicide across all strata of our society. The model is based on a very successful initiative developed in Glasgow.

New Malahide Senior Youth Club Following on from the success of the recently opened Foróige youth club in Malahide, a group of volunteers have come together to establish a second club for older teenagers. The Senior Club is aimed at 4th to 6th year students in secondary school . The club aims to provide a social
space for teenagers to come together to meet with their friends and get involved in a variety of activities to suit their interests. The club will open on Wednesday, 2nd March and run from 8.00pm until 9.30pm each week. It will operate in the Grove Lawn Tennis Clubhouse, Grove Road. The club will be run by a youth committee and volunteers from the local area. All teenagers from these years are invited to come along.
Credit Union National School Quiz The Swords and District level of the annual Credit Union Schools Quiz was held on Sunday 2nd February in Fingallians GAA Club. There was great support from family, teachers and friends for the 29 teams taking part. The level of knowledge and commitment demonstrated by the children was inspiring. Congratulations to the winning teams, the Under 11 years first prize went to St Cronan’s Senior School, Brackenstown and the Under 13s first prize to Holy Family NS, River Valley. All children taking part were granted ‘homework passes’ for one night by their teachers and a goody bag courtesy of Swords and District Credit union. The winning teams now go forward to the next level where they will meet other teams from all over the North County. Best of luck to all teams representing their schools throughout the region.
