A single word, like 'love';

9

A phrase, like ' called upon a trembling world', or even more than one word which does not necessarily make up a phrase, like 'love voice family have '.

Suppose we want to search for sections containing the words 'love you'. We will then type the words “love you” in the search text box. Before conducting the search, we should indicate what parameters to be used. 9

Lesson 8 - The Word Definition window in Detail Introduction As mentioned earlier, the Word Definition window is where to display the definition of the word. This window will now be dealt with in more detail. You will notice that the Word Definition window is probably empty. This is due to the fact that we have not selected a particular word yet. If you aren’t there already, Double-Click on the word “the”, In the Word Definition window you will see the word “The”, and an explanation thereof. However, this will only be the case if the synchronize button is activated. If this button was not activated whilst you Double-clicked a word, e.g. 'the', the textbox of the word definition window would have remained empty (read more about the synchronize button and its function in the following “Synchronize” button).

34

When you click on “Paste into Word Processor” button, the following window will appear:

You can select the existing word “word definition.doc”, or you can type in the File name by yourself “123”. In our example, we type in the file name “123”, and then click on “Save” button. The word definition will be copied into the 123.doc, and the 123.doc will be opened for your edit. It will look like this:

Synchronize button As already explained elsewhere in this tutorial, when you click on a word which has definition in the dictionary, the definition of the selected word will be displayed in the Word Definition Window. However this will only be the case if the Synchronize button is activated. In the example below I have clicked on the word 'the' in the Book Body Window. And the definition of “the is displayed in the window.

If you deactivate the Synchronize button and move to another word, by clicking on the word once, the word definition window will still show the entry on the word you have previously selected. In the screenshot below, the word clicked on now is 'your', but because the Synchronize button has been deactivated, the entry in the word definition window still refers to the word previously selected, namely 'the'.

36

If you want the word definition window to display the word definition, please click the “synchronize button to activate the function, then the word definition window will immediately display the definition of the word you click.
