For immediate release – 5/21/2007 - #383 Three Hornets Selected for North-South All-Star Game

LYNCHBURG, VA – Three players from the Lynchburg College men’s lacrosse team will each be represented this season at the annual North/South All-Star game.

Midfielder Ryan Cranston (West Chester, PA/Henderson), goalie Garrett Curran (Hull, MA/Tabor Academy), and defender Chris Perzinski (Freeland, MD/Hereford) will compete in the North-South Classic on Friday, May 23 in Boston, MA, at Harvard Stadium at 2 p.m.

Cranston is a three-time first-team All-ODAC selection and posted 36 goals and 19 assists for 55 points this season, tallying six game-winning goals. Curran, a four-year starter, was tabbed the ODAC Player and Scholar Athlete of the Year this spring after recording a 6.35 goals against average along with a 63.1% save percentage. Perzinski, a three-year starter, played in all 19 games and started 17 contests, scooping up 27 groundballs while defending the opponent’s top attacker.
