STUDENT VOICE Sussex Downs College Students’ Union is the only Further Education College Union in the country to have achieved the NUS Quality Union Audit kitemark, usually awarded to university Student Unions. This remarkable achievement is due to the commitment and hard work of our Students’ Union Teams. As a result of this, they have been invited by the NUS to help develop a specific quality standard for other colleges to follow. This shows that the students have an influential voice – both locally and nationally. Our latest student survey contained great results, with 91% of learners saying that teaching on their course was very good and 94% stating that they felt safe at College.
