Thank you all for your cooperation in the changing of the month for collecting our dues. It will really help us out as so many of you aren’t here in the month of July. We really never got around to discussing new officers for this year, so I guess you’re still stuck with us. We will be asking for your help from time to time, as sometimes one of us just can’t be there. On rare occasions all of us might be unavailable, so we really do appreciate your help. It’s nothing but a pleasure working with such a great group. Ceramic

Pres. Jane Habbershaw 825-2635 Mondays-Wednesdays, Noon-3 PM; Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 AM-Noon Artisan Center/Ceramics

February is the month of the Valentine. Come and see what you can do to create a touching and personal gift for a loved one. Ceramics has amazing medias with which to express yourself. On Tuesday, February 4, the club will be attending a horse hair class. That is one of the many mediums which I spoke about. Until you come see, you will not know what you can do. This is not your mother’s ceramics. There are new and exciting elements with which to work. We hope to see you soon. Clay

Pres. Bob Arms 520-395-1697 First Thursday, 1 PM, Artisan Center/Pottery

Think all meetings are dull? Not ours. Business is done quickly to get to Show and Tell. Members share pieces that have been particularly successful or that have taught them something. This is a real bonus to both long-term and beginning potters. New club members are gathering Mondays, 1-3 PM. This is personal clay time; new members help each other, get acquainted with what’s available, find what they need and remember what they learned in orientation. Annual dues $15 pp and payable now. Please complete all information on the membership form and include with your check made out to the Clay Club. 2014 Officers: Pres., Bob Arms; VP, Joan Kelley; Sec., Teri Petty; Treas., Maria Gagnon. The listing of new committees is posted in the Clay Studio with the minutes of the last meeting. Mark your calendar. The annual Show and Tell Luncheon with the SaddleBrooke Clay Club will be held Wednesday, April 2, 11 AM-2 PM. Our club will be hosting this year. Watch for further details in the Clay Studio.
