We envision Chenoweth to be a safe place where all students are expected to reach their full potential. Students will be challenged through rigorous high-leveled learning experiences. Students will accept responsibility for their behavior and show acceptance for the diversity of others. With these ideals, every student will leave Chenoweth ready to be a contributing member of our community.

Outstanding Parent Involvement

The Chenoweth PTA is committed to enriching our children’s learning experiences by building a partnership between school, parents & teachers.

The Chenoweth PTA Board is one of the largest in Jefferson County with more than 30 parent/guardian volunteers.

Our Site-Based Decision Making Council (SBDM) includes two parent volunteers who work with three teachers and the principal.

The committee meets monthly to impact student success.

The Curriculum

All students at Chenoweth receive instruction based on the Core Content Guides written by teachers and staff of Jefferson County Public Schools. These guides are based on the Core Content for Assessment (Version 4.1) written by the Kentucky Department of Education.
