SCORES EVEN ALLOWED TO RUN IN PRESTIGES GUYANA CUP FEVER MEET Guyana Horse racing at Webs.com has learned this afternoon that Scores Even will be allowed to run this Sunday in the Guyana Cup fever meet at Port Mourant. Dennis Deoroop who is Scores Even’s trainer and owner said “we file a case at high court today against the Port Mourant Turf Club for not allowing Score's Even to race. The judge rule an made it mandatory for him to race. “This effort is not entirely for my own purpose but I made this effort mostly for Score's Even and the hundreds of supporters of this horse. I want to say thank u guys for the tremendous support u have given to us.” Scores Even has been the subject of controversy in the past year dating back to the Guyana Cup in August of 2013 in which he was excluded by the organizers to compete in that and other race meets during last and this year. Deoroop went on to say “the High Court has granted a mandatory injunction compelling the defendants to include the plaintiff's horse Score's Even in the Guyana Cup Fever. We didn't want to go this far but I explore all other options and I was pushed to the extreme.” As far as Scores Even’s training Deoroop said “well he is a little back on training. We needs to put in a lot of work but he should be ready for the race.”
