TRIBUTE AT ONE LOUDOUN Scott-Long is focused on building lasting relationships with our clients. Our second project with Thrive Senior Living, Tribute at One Loudoun, features a four-level 113,700 SF assisted living facility and consists of 140 assisted living and memory care units. It includes a commercial kitchen, dining facilities, memory terrace, beauty salon, movie theater, a fitness center, and multiple activity rooms.
TRIBUTE AT THE GLEN Thrive Senior Living works to actively build assisted living and memory care communities that keep residents engaged in a life they love - a life worth living. The Tribute at the Glen project focuses on utilizing modern technology to facilitate compassionate care. Their fourlevel, 127,000 SF assisted living facility consists of 140 assisted living and memory care units.
ARBOR TERRACE OF FAIRFAX Capital Seniors Housing is based in Washington, DC. The Arbor Terrace of Fairfax project features 54 memory care residences. The single story building consists of resident suites, dining rooms, activity rooms, fireside living rooms, and outdoor amenities such as covered porches and courtyards with outdoor seating. The 35,550 SF building is designed architecturally to tie into the surrounding area and provide a safe, comfortable environment for their senior residents.
ADLER CENTER FOR CARING Constructed for Capital Caring, the Adler Center for Caring is a 2-story, 21-bed, 50,000 SF hospice care center. Serving as one of the largest inpatient hospice centers on the east coast, this multifaceted facility provides a place for patient-focused programs with the latest in treatment, monitoring, and care-support technologies. Each patient room is private and includes a balcony or courtyard patio. A tranquil outdoor setting was created utilizing numerous fountains, beautifully landscaped walkways, and outdoor meditation spaces.
INOVA LIFE WITH CANCER This project for Inova Healthcare consists of a new 17,000 SF, 3-story, wood-framed building. The Family Center features a cancer information center, comfortable classrooms, private and group counseling rooms, children and adult art therapy studios, a large exercise room for classes specifically designed for cancer patients, a teen lounge, a reflection garden with a waterfall, and a large dine-in kitchen for healthy eating cooking demonstrations. It is the only health system affiliated resource center of its kind in the Northern Virginia region.
HOSPICE OF THE CHESAPEAKE Hospice of the Chesapeake’s Inpatient Care Center consists of a single-story, 13,500 SF, Inpatient Care Center (IPCC), including sitework and landscaping. The facility includes 14 bedrooms each with a private bathroom, a clinical station, conference rooms, reflection/ sanctuary rooms, offices, a small commercial kitchen, laundry, staff lounge, and great room and kitchen for patients’ families. The surrounding gardens have walkways, water features & additional plantings to present a comforting area for meditation and relaxation.
SANCTUARY AT HOLY CROSS Trinity Health is one of the largest multiinstitutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation. The Sanctuary at Holy Cross is a 145 unit complex located in Burtonsville, Maryland. This project featured renovation of MEP and new nurse call systems, new kitchen cabinetry, and commercial kitchen hood installations. New finishes included carpet, laminate wood flooring, wall coverings, appliances, lighting, and a fireplace in each dining room.
CLUBHOUSE AT POTOMAC GREEN
The Clubhouse at Potomac Green is the centerpiece of a senior living community in Ashburn, VA. This 29,000 SF clubhouse features an indoor pool and spa, and spaces for aerobics, fitness, and billiards. The upper level includes an indoor running track and the facility is surrounded with a mile of walkways, an outdoor pool with pool house, bocce courts, three lighted tennis courts, horseshoe pits, shade structures, croquet lawn area, and a gatehouse at the main entry.
SUNRISE SENIOR LIVING Scott-Long has built multiple senior living campuses for Sunrise Senior Living. Locations include Annapolis in Maryland and Falls Church and Bluemont Park in Virginia, along with renovations at various existing Sunrise locations in the DC region. Each location features the signature Victorian styled architecture and is highlighted by significant landscaping, paved trails, and an enclosed area for Alzheimer’s resident’s outdoor activities.
HEARTFIELDS SENIOR LIVING Scott-Long has built multiple senior living campuses for Heartfields Senior Living. Locations include Bowie, Frederick, and Severna Park in Maryland and Fredericksburg in Virginia. Each facility features a commercial kitchen, laundry services, a chapel, reading rooms, a library, gathering spaces, and outdoor spaces.
