Analyzed and interpreted the needs for schematic design urban design projects with the Cleveland and Akron areas. Created site plans and graphic elements from brainstorming sessions for presentations to clients.

Prepared documents for site survey teams, redetailed as builds from site surveys and photos and remodeled pharmacy interiors on the Retail Remodel team of the Walgreen’s group through a series of Midwest sites.

ULI Hines Student Competition 2019 GREENWAY

Located along the banks of the Ohio River, this site was chosen for the development issues that have be stunting the growth of this area. Major design elements was to cover the highway that divides the city from the river and to create a pedestrian 24/7 ecosystem in between the two stadiums.

Sycamore Community Center

The site is situated between two different neighborhoods, one that is more affluent than the other, and is near high trafficked areas of Cincinnati. Heavy wooden construction was a key factor in the design of the community center, which had martial arts and hackerspace as program elements.

Links was a study of the biking infrastructure and culture of Cleveland. Within the studio an exploration of modular, semi-permanent structures was key to create a catalyst from which bike usage would increase in Northeast Ohio.

The Team Studio Desk project was to be influenced by found items from a junkyard, such as the car rims, rabbit cages and auger pieces. It provided the storage needed for architectural supplies, a bench for critiques and different working styles, and was open enough to be of use for model building over the course of the semester.

The Over the Rhine Community was located just north of downtown Cincinnati in an area now known as Over the Rhine. With new businesses and apartments coming in quickly into the area the Over the Rhine Community provided for a niche that was not being filled. Based around health and wellness, the Community filled the need for physical fitness facilities and multi-family housing in Over the Rhine.

In addition to providing a springboard for new makers, many of the resources utilized within are readily available to the public. A key design was a highly inclusive series of work environments in which multi-tenant zones are placed on either side of a collaboration spaces for shared use of the spaces, the technology and cross pollination between groups.
