Scot French is a successful investor with over a decade’s worth of experience in managing portfolios for corporate executives, institutional fund managers, and other successful clients. He is the founder of HP Investments, otherwise known as Hopewell Partnership Investments. The company was named after his boyhood hometown of Hopewell, Illinois. He founded HP Investments in 2015 in Brooklyn, New York, before relocating to lower Manhattan. Scot earned his bachelor’s degree in 2009 and his MBA in 2011. He carried a full course load in a very demanding master’s program all while balancing a part-time internship and publishing a popular financial newsletter called Market Roundup. It was so popular that readers were willing to pay $300 for his insight. Before he founded HP investments, Scot developed his analytical skills for multiple Wall Street investment firms.
