From the Coordinators Desk Hi All Term 2 has just flown by here at KCH. The Block of the Month project is still flourishing with the girls so excited about their work and their progress. We are really proud of them all!! We’ve also seen the regular classes improve in popularity and thoroughly enjoyed the Essential First Aid Certificate class held over a full day last term. Coming up in Term 3 we will continue the block of the month as well as old favorites. In August we are looking forward to the Army Art show. Please make sure you complete your volunteer forms (enclosed) if you are keen to participate. We have a couple of fundraisers this term. The first being our personalised plates, then we have family portraits in September. We will have a psychic visit us and plenty more exciting activities. Looking forward to seeing you in Term 3.

Committee News Well we are now half way through the year and boy has it flown by fast! Karrakatta has been a hive of activity and I’m sure next term will be the same. We are all excited about the safe arrival of Jenny’s baby and wish her well. Next term come and enjoy a cuppa to celebrate and meet her new baby. Sadly our playgroup coordinator Kylie, is unable to continue her role, so we are on the hunt for a new coordinator. Please contact our centre coordinators if you are interested (See job vacancy on page 4). Thank you to all those who helped KCH with the Slice Drive Fundraiser. Please support our fundraisers this term (see page 7) I look forward to seeing everyone again in term 3.
