Issue 4: 19th October 2012
Balloons Following our work this week in Literacy reading ‘A Balloon for Granddad’ and learning about countries around the world, the children wrote their own messages to someone special and attached them to their own balloon. Yesterday afternoon we released them to embark on their journey. The afternoon was very exciting as you can imagine – we even had to contact Air Traffic Control to get permission to release the balloons! Please let us know if you find one! Watch this space to find out how we captured the moment!
Primary Open Day Our Primary Open Day to recruit pupils for Reception classes next year has been scheduled for 16th November. During this day, prospective parents will be invited to visit the school. Please tell your friends and family if you would like to recommend School 21 to others and help us make a real difference to as many children and families as possible. More details as to how you can help will follow in the near future.
School Uniform Great news! Fashion Stop now has jumpers, cardigans and PE T-shirts in stock! As you can see our children continue to look sensational in their uniforms and here are two children who have been chosen to show us all how smart and presentable we should look for each day at School 21. Please remember that any hair bands should be purple in line with the school’s uniform. Additionally, for your child’s safety during practical play-based activities, the school would prefer earrings to be single studs rather than hoops.
