Year 1 Visit Hackney City Farm On Thursday 15th May Year 1 went to visit Hackney City Farm to find out about plants and animals. They visited the playground, had a picnic, fed the sheep, stroked the donkeys and even held a chicken! It was a lovely, sunny, fun-filled day.

Attendance Matters If your child is absent, please contact the school the same day with the reason for the absence. For absences between 1 – 3 days: a daily telephone call from parents by 9am with an explanation is required. For absences between 4 – 5 days a letter from parents with an explanation on or before the child’s return to school Alternatively, for days 1-4 of absence, parents may e-mail the school at attendance@school21.org.uk For absences of 5 days and over, parents must provide written medical evidence from their doctor or hospital.

During this hot weather, please be sure to send your child to school with their water bottle. These should be taken home each evening and washed. The wearing of sun hats is also advised.
