School 21 Open Evening Extreme Readers Competition We are looking for the most obscure and entertaining place that pupils and staff have been caught reading. These photographs will be displayed in school and there will be a prize for the most imaginative and obscure place. Check out Miss Hardy holding a snake! Come on, get reading! A massive thank you to all of those who were involved in making this week’s Open Evening for next year’s Reception a huge success. Well done to all of the school community who helped to spread the word about what we are doing here at School 21. WANTED—Reading Volunteers We would love to have some parents who could come in to school on a regular basis to listen to readers in both Reception and Year 1. It would also be great if there are any dads who are willing to come into school to listen to children and motivate the boys into reading!

Although Children in Need is officially on Friday 15th November, we have decided to raise money for this event on Monday 18th November to prevent a clash with PE Friday! Therefore all children are invited to wear their pyjamas , dress as Pudsey the Bear, or dress as their favourite super hero . £1 donations to be handed to your child’s class teacher. Don’t forget to keep up to date with everything by visiting our Weebly Site: http://s21primary.weebly.com
