FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 18, 2012
SENTINEL CONSULTING GROUP, LLC & EPANIC FORM PARTNERSHIP AGAINST MASS VIOLENCE High Point, NC – Sentinel Consulting Group (SCG) signed a contract with ePanic late last week to become a reseller for its scalable PC based emergency incident notification system. The technology allows employees to discreetly summon assistance (security) with the click of a mouse, a hot key or an optional foot pedal switch. Then the alerts are broadcast to pre-determined groups through peer to peer transmission, but also over email and text messaging. With incidents of workplace violence and mass shootings occurring around the United States, technology such as this is growing in demand and becoming as commonplace as surveillance cameras and alarms. “Our company has always been focused on helping businesses develop comprehensive and effective security programs through risk assessments/audits, training and policy development, said Greg Leimone, President of SCG. This tool fits perfectly into our mission of helping clients to be proactive about crime prevention and prepared for that one tragic event that could occur to any business and on any given day.” Johnny Lee started ePanic after a successful career as a workplace violence specialist with the State of NC and as a victim advocate for the Asheville Police Department. Mr. Lee has authored several books on the topic and actively conducts seminars across the country to educate the public on workplace violence prevention. "ePanic Button is excited about the new working relationship with Sentinel Consulting Group to help keep employees, clients and all stakeholders safer from the threat of harm." Also as part of the partnership, both companies will leverage their synergy by sharing resources and personnel when needed for various consulting engagements and investigations. “As a subject matter expert in this area, Mr. Lee can be extremely beneficial to our existing (and future) clients who use our outsourced security management and other services. We are excited about all of the possibilities in which our companies can work together to combat crime,” Leimone said.
