Mother Edith L. McGrew Jurisdictional Supervisor of Women June 10, 2014

Greetings Saints of the Most High, Knowing that there is indeed a time and season for all things, it is without fail that the AIM Convention is one of greatest indicators that summer is just around the corner. The combined ministries that make up AIM provide an excellent opportunity for training, fellowship, outreach, and soul winning. So, it is with great expectation that I bring greetings to Pastor Dennis Martin, the AIM Chairman, and the entire leadership body of the South Central Georgia Auxiliaries in Ministry team. The AIM Convention enables the entire family to come together for spiritual enrichment. The five auxiliaries that make up AIM, combine to form three conventions in one place; ME, MY, and Sunday School. (Missions & Evangelism; Music & Youth; and Sunday School). These auxiliaries form the anchor for what happens in our churches on a weekly basis. I anticipate a mighty move of God as we gather for this special time in the jurisdiction. On behalf of the Department of Women, I offer our total support, because we are holy women who meditate day and night for good success. We even have an APP for that. I pray God’s continued blessings for an awesome assembly. I remain prayerfully yours, Yours in service, Edith L. McGrew Mother Edith L. McGrew, Supervisor of Women South Central Georgia Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction

Welcome to the South Central Georgia Jurisdiction AIM Convention 2014 Greetings to all the Saints:

It is my privilege to greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our annual Auxiliaries in Ministry Convention (AIM) is the one time a year when all of our Departments come together for training and worship. The entire Leadership Team wishes to welcome each of you to AIM 2014. As we gather for these next four days, we come with a sense of expectancy, urgency and anticipation, believing God for a fresh anointing and clear vision for the future. This week of worship, training and fellowship is intended to equip and enable us to face this world with boldness and confidence. Our, visionary leader Bishop Harper has given us a charge to touch and inspire every congregation in our jurisdiction through training and worship. We believe the world is waiting on us to touch them and we must be equipped to do so. I would like to extend my appreciation to all of the officials of AIM: Sunday School Department Dr. Verney Clarke, Field Representative Missionary Charla Johnson, Evangelism Department President Edmund Williams, Elect Lady Missionary Pauline Moten, Youth Department President Elder Kevin Humphries, Chairlady Missionary Dionne Allen, Chairman of the Music Board Pastor Reginald Smith, and Music Department, Executive Secretary for AIM, Evangelist Jacqueline Williams for all of the time and energy that has been exerted to bring this all together. “The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD. Psalm 129:8 May God Bless

Edmund & Pearl Shelton Williams, Sr. Upon the lea ding of the Lord, my father moved to Atlanta, Georgia in July, 1975. It was an experience of a lifetime not knowing anybody. We had no relatives or friends in the city. But the Lord blessed!! Elder Williams graduated from Fulton High School on June 7, 1986, and was blessed with a Football Scholarship to attend Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bene, Mississippi. In May 1988, he felt the need to return home to help my father. Then he accepted the call to the ministry in October 1993. Upon graduating from Charles Harrison Mason Bible College, Edmund Williams became an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. On December 6, 1998, Elder Williams established the Temple of Prayer Family Center COGIC where he served as Pastor until September 1, 2002. On July 12, 2002, Pastor Williams was selected to be the Pastor of the Family of God Worship Center COGIC in Gainesville, Georgia where he served until February 15, 2004. Upon the leading of the Holy Ghost and Bishop Chandler David Owen, Pastor Williams reopened the Temple of Prayer Family Center on February 29, 2004 through October 30, 2011. She served as the East Atlanta District Chairlady assisting the late District Missionary Juanita Whitlock. She has worked diligently in Central Georgia Jurisdiction as the Sewing Circle President for over 30 years, District Missionary of the Columbus District (Superintendent Warren Brown) and District Missionary of the Atlanta District (the late Superintendent G. She worked faithfully with the late Superintendent Nathan Simmons, Dr. Eugene Taylor and now with the current President, Elder Edmund Williams. For over 25 years, she assisted Mother Pearl Paige Brown (International Sewing Circle President) teaching the daily classes during the Holy Convocation in Memphis, Tennessee. Evangelist Moten enjoys doing the work of an evangelist and will continue to press toward the prize of the high calling.

Youth Department Elder Kevin Humphries Sr. has been in ministry for over 30 years. He has expertise in Military, Business, Youth, and Pastoral Leadership. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of distinguished military service, where he learned leadership, administration, and communication skills. After Bishop Owens’ transition, Elder Humphries was asked by the newly appointed Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Norman O. Harper, to continue in this position for the South Central Georgia Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. He coordinates youth events for over 70 local churches. From 2009 - 2012, he was designated as the Georgia State Youth Coordinator, where he developed events to foster spiritual unity and growth among the youth of nine jurisdictions based in the state of Georgia. Elder Humphries has ministered throughout the United States, and many countries around the world. His love for God translates into a love for God’s people, and motivates him to see people all over the world transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Breneta, for over 30 years, and they have two wonderful children, Kevin Jr., and Brenna. They are partners in ministry and work together to serve God’s people in all they do. To God be the glory for the things He has done through the life of Elder Kevin W. Humphries Sr.
