SLED Alcohol Sting Process Remind your employees If a convenience store gets an alcohol violation, the SLED agent has 15 days to write up the information and provide to SLED headquarters for review. It is then forwarded to the South Carolina Department of Revenue. SC Department of Revenue process is: Beer and Wine (Retail) All offenses except as specified below or as otherwise specified by statute:

1st offense – $500 2nd offense – $1,000 3rd offense – 45 Days Suspension 4th offense – Revocation
