LOMPOC VALLEY FALLEN WARRIORS MEMORIAL

Lompoc Valley Fallen Warriors Memorial To recognize Lompoc Valley residents of the United States Armed Forces, either active or reserve, including the U.S. Coast Guard, who died in the line of duty. The Memorial will embrace the existing flagpole atop a rolling hill, at Beattie Park, overlooking the city. The peaceful setting will provide a place of solitude for those who wish to pay respect and reflect on the sacrifices of our local warriors.

Our Fallen Warriors names and service information will be engraved in black, polished granite set atop the crowns of 5 stone pedestals. The stone on the walls and pedestals will be fabricated using a textured Earth stone. The courtyard floor of the memorial will be constructed with California Gold natural slate and the seat tops will be made of black, leathered granite. The Memorial Walk and Donor’s Circle will also display personal engravings as depicted below. Listed below are several ways to be involved with helping us build this memorial. A donation in any amount is welcome.

Veterans’ Walls These walls are located just outside of the main memorial. For a $250.00 donation, you will receive a granite tile engraved with the name, rank, and service information of the person you wish to commemorate. A name listed on the Veterans’ Walls must be a person currently serving in, or honorably discharged from, the United States military.

The Memorial Walk The Memorial Walk will extend from the Donor’s Circle to the memorial, then from the memorial to an existing walkway. These bricks will be placed within the banding design of the walkway. For a $250.00 donation, you will receive a 4x8 brick engraved with a name or a sentiment; i.e. your family name or personal sentiment may be placed on a brick.

Donor’s Circle The Donor’s Circle will be located at the front entrance of the memorial. For donations made in any amount larger than $500.00, you will receive an engraved granite tile in a size based on the level of donation. The information available for engraving will be dependent on the size the granite tile will allow.

Donations in all amounts are greatly appreciated. V98/29mm
