Getting Ready for the Used Uniform Sale The annual Used Uniform Sale for SBA families is coming up on Saturday, June 2. The Used Uniform Sale is a great way for new families to catch great deals on gently used SBA uniform items. It’s also a way for “graduating” families to pass their uniform items on and make a little cash! Complete details are included in a separate article in today’s Monday Mail, so be sure to check that out. Special thanks to JoAnn Card who is heading up this year’s sale. Watch next week’s Monday Mail for volunteer sign-up info for this event.
SENIOR PARENTS, Don’t Forget to RSVP for These Events Each spring, Home & School coordinates a number of special events for our senior families. These SBA traditions are a cherished part of our seniors’ final semester in high school—and it’s Home & School’s honor to make them happen. So far this year, we’ve hosted a great dinner for senior boys and their mothers, along with a fun dance for senior girls and their dads. Coming up April 22, Home & School will host the last two senior events for this school year: the Mother & Daughter Tea and the Father & Bowling Bash. E-vites for both events were sent to families recently, with the RSVP deadlines for both coming up in the next two weeks. The Mother & Daughter Tea will take place on Sunday, April 22 from 2-4 p.m. at Memphis Botanic Garden in Hardin Hall. Attendees will enjoy delicious tea treats, prizes for the best hat and “mother-daughter look-alike” contest, as well as a brief talk from a special guest. Holland Studios will also be on hand to capture the memories. Tickets are $35 per person. Please visit the Mother & Daughter Tea event page to RSVP by Monday, April 16: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sba-2018-mother-daughter-tea-tickets-44623155058 The Father & Son Bowling Bash happens Sunday, April 22 from 1-3 p.m. at Andy B’s in Bartlett. The afternoon will include a little friendly competition with great prizes and a delicious BBQ buffet in Andy B’s private VIB Lounge. Tickets are $28 per person, which includes shoe rental. Please visit the Father & Son Bowling Bash event page to RSVP by Friday, April 13: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2018-sba-father-son-bowling-bash-tickets-44689684048

SBA Project Graduation 2017-2018
Dear St. Benedict at Auburndale Parents: Saturday, May 12, 2018 is Graduation for St. Benedict seniors. A tradition for the St. Benedict seniors is a drug and alcohol free “lock-in” given by the senior parents. Over 95% of our seniors participate each year and they have a wonderful time. We rent out Incredible Pizza and they have unlimited play time, as well as unlimited pizza, drinks and snacks. Whether your child loves go-karts, bowling, putt-putt, laser tag or lots of video games-there is something for everyone. Each child receives a special gift as well as super door prizes that have included 32-inch flat screen TV’s, Microwaves and Gift Cards to name a few. It will also be the last time they will all be together as a group. Amy Iovinelli, SBA Project Graduation Committee Chair, 901.849.9644 firstname.lastname@example.org
