your say! Dog fouling remains an issue in the Village, I as Chair intend to make this a mission to get this sorted and reduced! Be warned to those that let their Dogs foul our footpaths, our Kids Play Parks & Playing Fields. Finally from a Council point of view I want to congratulate those involved in the Saxilby Gala; it was a great start to what used to be a major Village Event. All the best for 2012.

Allotments

Planning Applications

We have had several parishioners make enquiries about allotments in Saxilby.

We are aware quite a few people in the village have concerns over a proposed development on church lane. This application is still at a very early stage and we have no extra information than that which has been made public. If this development is progressed there will be a public meeting to allow all to express their views.

The council will look into the possibility of providing land if there are enough interested parties. Please contact the office on 703912 to express interest.

Parish Clerk Blog I would like to give an update on the situation with the Blood Service sessions in Saxilby.

Council Meetings Diary

St Andrews Centre William Street Saxilby Lincoln LN1 2LP

As many of you are aware we managed to obtain a list of approximately 80 people who would be interested in giving blood in Saxilby. On our initial enquiries we were told that if we got from 80+ donors then they would arrange a mobile van to come to the village. We have now contacted them with our list and the letter we have received back says that they are not looking for new venues in the area and advise the donors to enroll at Carholme Road. We are going to contact them again to try and persuade them to come to the village and will give you more information as soon as we receive it.
