MEETING THE TORTOISES


Giant turtles live on the island of Curieuse. A couple of them are over a hundred years old. Take a treat with you. For a delicious banana, turtle will allow you to scratch behind the ear.


SAVOUR CREOLE DISHES


Try seafood, shrimps in a garlic sauce, baked swordfish, shark meat and crabs in a coconut sauce. Stock up on vitamins - have for breakfast mango, papaya, jackfruit and carambola, drink coconut juice. Don`t forget about bananas: the most popular fruits on the islands.


ISLAND HOPPING AND COCO DE MER


Vallee de Mai is a UNESCO World Heritage. On a legend, bible Garden of Eden was located here. Vallee de Mai is a home for 6,000 palm trees. Here grows Coco de Mer, famous for its shape. During the walk, you can see six types of rare palm trees and the endangered black parrot - the symbol of Seychelles.

The northern part of Mahe island is occupied by the largest park in the country - Morne National Park, covered with tropical rainforests. There are 12 routes for hiking lovers here. Show your stamina and climb to the highest point of the island Morne Blanc. You`ll be rewarded with spectacular views on La Digue and Praslin islands. On the way, you will see palm trees, breadfruit and, if you`re lucky, the world's smallest frog.
