All SAP users can use multiple communications channels, such as e-mail, fax, SMS or EDI, to exchange information with their business partners, clients and service providers. The infrastructure and the processes are typically quite complex and not easy to maintain. Topic: SAP in the Cloud SAP Solution area: HCM / Cloud Recently SAP has made substantial investments in Cloud. The results are coming in and the clouds are looming. Chris will take you through the Cloud journey, focussing on the HCM area with SAP and SuccessFactors integration along with Jam, SAP NetWeaver Cloud PaaS and SAP NetWeaver Cloud Portal.

Topic: Database and Technology SAP Solution area: Solution Manager Justifying the expense of keeping your application up-to-date is a difficult task. While upgrading for upgrading’s sake is not a sound strategy, hanging on to an out-dated application layer could cost your business more than you think. Landmark is a recent winner of the Best Run SAP Upgrade at the SAP Awards of Excellence.

Speakers: Chris Paine, SAP Mentor

Speaker: Tony de Thomasis, Landmark Operations Ltd

The concept of “Pervasive Business Intelligence” is not new. The term, that refers to “a data warehouse that combines historic and real‐time data, available to the majority of the organisation’s employees 365/24/7” has been used since 2008, associated with democratised data warehouses, which can be used by all levels of the organisation, to make decisions based on real‐time information using SAP HANA. Topic: Keeping Things Simple SAP Solution area: FI/PP/MM/PS/SD To achieve and meet the brief of a short implementation timeframe and strict monthly cash-flow parameters, the strategy was to implement the Best Practice baseline and use the thinking of many people and numerous resources including the SAP supplied collateral. The key to success was to “keep it simple”. The implementation was deployed using a path well-trodden, utilising people from within the business. Business practices were adapted to SAP, rather than modifying SAP to suit the business practice. Valley Longwall is a recent winner of the Best Run ERP with Channel Partner at the SAP Awards of Excellence.

Topic: Workforce Performance Builder, Supporting End User Adoption & Error Reduction in Applications SAP Solution area: Education – Workplace Performance Builder Introducing the newly acquired SAP solution Workforce Performance Builder.
