Camila can now show off her songwriting talent thanks to your support of Creative Kids.

It’s pretty easy to understand and appreciate the important role arts and culture inclusion has in the lives of vulnerable children and youth. Creative Kids was built on the desire to remove the barriers kids face in order to participate in those meaningful activities. We often get calls and letters from moms, dads, and caregivers, hoping and praying we will have raised enough money to support their child’s creative lessons for another year. Unfortunately, in the last three years our fundraising efforts have not been as successful as they were when the Saskatchewan economy was strong. We need to raise more money to meet the needs of the kids who are hoping to return to their creative lessons in 2019. Their future participation is in jeopardy. Last year alone, we had to turn away 613 children, simply because we didn’t raise enough

money to allow their participation. In 2019, we anticipate more than 700 kids in music, dance, art and theatre, will be told they are not able to participate in their activities if the fundraising efforts continue to decline. We need your help. Please visit CreativeKidsSask.ca or call toll free 1-855-277-9469 to make a donation. One hundred per cent of all donations goes directly to supporting the creative inclusion for children and youth. At no time will your donation be used for administrative purposes. You are able to direct your donation to one of our five areas of creativity – music, dance, theatre, art or culture, and you can also request your donation stay to help a child in your local Saskatchewan community.
