Summary: This article is saying that Catherin, the duchess of Cambridge and Prince Williams baby boy was born on Monday 22 of July, 2013. The media was excited about the arrival of the baby because Catherine announces the baby was going to give birth in middle of July. The baby is just born and he has already a path to the power. He is third in line for the throne according to the monarchy system, after his grandfather and his father he is next for the crown. The people were really excited about the baby arrival they waited outside the Buckingham palace. Also they have been selling special royal baby merchandise.

This news article is news worthy because thereâ€™s a new person for the monarchy of the throne and is worldwide news because the baby is a new member of the royal family.
What new insight into the world did you gain through this article, and how will it impact your way of thinking or behaving? Explain. A really important insight I gain from reading this article is that people in the UK really cares about the royal family and what they do because as soon as he people knew that there was going o be a royal baby the start selling merchandise and also when the baby was going to give birth they waited outside of the hospital and outside the Buckingham palace. This impacts me in my way of thinking because it made me realize that the cultures are different all around the world.

What caused the movie to be made was the fandom of the band and also how fast they have been reaching the popularity and to be known worldwide. The effects of this big event are that many more people will get to know who one direction is and how is their daily life.

In this article the reporter Paloma kluger from “Time for kids” went to The world science festival that is a science festival in which kids can interact in nine different workshops. This festival has been made since 2008 and is held in New York City. Each of the different workshops allowed kids to learn and make different activities. She went to Oceanographer’s Apprentice, Roboticist’s Apprentice, and Food Scientist’s Apprentice workshops. In each of these different topics she could talk to a specialized person from the topic. 6

And in the festival childrenâ€™s will learn different things that are going to help them not only in school but in their future. I connect this event to a trip we made with the school when I was in fourth grade to a museum called MIP. In the museum they had similar workshop in which you could play and learn different thing about many topics. Also they made us watch some videos and in the museum there were people who were specialized in each topic.

This article narrates how the designer Ying Gao bring smart technology to apparel. Ying Gao worked with the special robotics engineer Simon Laroche to create two technological dresses. To make this dresses the lightless possible they used a special fabric called shredded and ruched super organza. The dresses can move very slowly into many directions and also if you turn off the light they will start glowing. 8

The most interesting thing I learned from reading this article is that technology now can be used in everything. I couldnâ€™t believe how that dresses had technology. Also is really interesting how the human people are evolutionating and creating all kinds of stuff. And how they used different materials like fabrics that can create technology.
What new insight into the world did you gain through this article, and how will it impact your way of thinking or behaving? Explain. The new insight I gain from reading this article is that know the world is evolutionating into technology. That many things that we do can in a few years will be made by the technology. Also that if dresses are technological I am sure that from this year to 5 or 6 years more there are going to exist robots and bunch of machines that will make our lives easier.

This article talks about one of the biggest wildfires on history that is spreading across the Yosemite national Park. The fire started the 17 of august in a forest in the west of Yosemite. And it had spread across 185,000 acres of land. More than 3,800 firefighter are trying t stop the fire. The fire has destroyed many homes and areas of the national park. Also it had destroyed 2 of the 3 hydroelectric source of power of San Francisco public places like the airport,

When the land is too dry the plants can turn to be flammable and with the sun they can cause a blaze. And the effect of the fire is that many acres of land in the park have been affected and itâ€™s going to take a long time to recover them.

I can connect the wildfire in the Yosemite national park to a fire that happened in El parquet Metropolitano. I live really close to the park and it was really foggy and it smell terrible. The fire was so big that they needed helicopters and bunch of firefighters to shut it down just like the wildfire in Yosemite.
