GENERAL RULES/ALL BREEDS: 1)EXHIBITOR SINGLE DAY ADMISSION TICKETS: (bundle of 4/$20.00) IMPORTANT: The Exhibitor Single Day Admission Ticket bundle can only be purchased by exhibitors with original entries being made by last deadline of 9-1-2012. No additional EXHIBITOR SINGLE DAY ADMISSON TICKET BUNDLES CAN BE PURCHASED AFTER ENTRIES ARE MADE, AFTER 9-1-2012 OR AT GATE UPON ARRIVAL. Additional single day admission tickets: (paid & purchased w/entries prior to 9-1-12) Adult: $7.00 ea; Children, ages 6-11 $4.00 each

Exhibitor’s armbands for complete entries submitted no later than 9-1-2012, which: a) Will be picked up at Gate 7 upon arrival after start of Fair with Exhibitor’s parking passes, etc. b) Will allow bearer free admission through Gate 7 only for period of time designated on the armband. c) Must be on exhibitor’s wrist and cannot be transferred. d) Cannot be purchased and lost or destroyed armbands cannot be replaced. e) Will be allotted: 1-2 horses entered: 1 armband 3-4 horses entered: 2 armbands 5+ horses entered: 3 armbands (maximum)

2) NO revision, disassembly or dismantling of stalls. Refer to General Rules for rules/policy regarding disassembly of stalls. 3) Ribbons to 6 places in most classes. Exception: Champion and Reserve Champion rosettes only in Championship Halter classes. 4) Lunch and/or other breaks at discretion of officials/show management and will be announced. 5) Oklahoma State Fair Horse Show management reserves the right to revise start times and show locations for all days/classes after entries close. Please re-visit the Oklahoma State Fair website to determine the most current information posted after Sept. 1, 2012. 6) Current copy of registration papers verifying current gender and current ownership must be submitted with entries for all horses entered in any registered class (i.e. Draft Halter, all Gypsy, Drum and Miniature Donkey classes.) 7) Oklahoma State Fair waivers must be completed with all requested names and signatures and must be submitted with entries. 8) Mandatory that a complete and legible W-9 be submitted with entries for Gypsy, Draft and Drum horses. Must be completed for one single payee (individual owner, agent or company) with applicable social security number or Federal Tax ID number for listed payee. Only one payee per farm/stable/ownership entity. 9) IMPORTANT - All Exhibitors: All handlers/exhibitors, riders, hitch or team drivers or wagons are required to wear or display OSF provided back number(s) when entering the competition arena. Entries will not be allowed into the show arena without this exhibitor/back number. Not wearing or displaying the correct number may void exhibitor placing and ability to earn any prize money offered therein. 10) Proceed to the specifications and rules applicable to your division. DRAFT HORSE/DIVISION 2125 RULES This show approved by/sanctioned as:  NORTH AMERICAN SIX HORSE HITCH CLASSIC SERIES FINALS  CLYDESDALE ALL AMERICAN LEVEL B SHOW  THE SOUTHERN PLAINS REGIONAL CLYDESDALE SHOW 1. Tack Stalls for single owner/farm/stable(s) entered (cannot be shared by more than one owner, stable or farm): Four-Five paid horse stalls for duration of show=One Free tack stall; Six-Seven paid horse stalls for duration of show=Two Free tack stalls; Eight or More paid horse stalls for duration of show=Three Free tack stalls. (OSF will allot and assign these as entries are made.) (Not eligible for farms/stables entered ONLY in NASHHCS class numbers 028, 043 or 122.) 2. No cross entry between classes designated for Draft Horses and Gypsy horses. EXCEPTION: Class #’s 032, 033, 034, 036 which are open to all breeds/horses. 3. The hitch classes are considered group classes. More than one owner may participate in a hitch class, but only one owner should make the entry and pay the entry fee for the team. Only one driver is permitted in any of the classes. One rider/passenger is optional. 4. Farm Team Classes: a. Must use farm harness (no hame housings, scotch collars or patent leather). b. Shoes are optional. c. Team can use a forecart or any larger 4 wheel wagon and a team of 2 (two) horses. d. No manes or tails braided. e. Open to horses or mules. 5. Show Hitch and Cart Classes: a. The same horse cannot be used in ladies’ cart class #114 and men’s cart class #116. b. Class #098 and #104: an adult must ride with junior exhibitors. c. Classes 031, 030, 035, 072, 075, 086, 100, 104, and 132 must be fifth wheel vehicles. d. Traditional Draft Horse show harness is required. (Scotch collars, patent leather, biothane, etc.) e. Exhibitors cannot cross enter in Novice, Youth and/or Men’s / Ladies’ carts. f. Novice drivers are those newer to driving and can enter this class for two years before moving up to Men’s /Ladies’ class. 6. Pleasure Classes: a. #038 - Light vehicle can be 2 or 4 wheel cart, surrey, wagonette, etc., pulled by 1 or 2 horses.

b. #041 - Heavy vehicle can be any larger 4 wheel wagon and a team. c. The same vehicle (wagon,cart, etc.) cannot be used in both classes: 038 & 041. d. Classes #038 & #041 do not require show harness, show shoes, and/or braids and will be judged on the appearance of being a relaxing pleasure to drive. 7. Youth - is defined as a rider /driver who is eighteen years and younger on January 1 of the calendar year of the show. Youth can show in any Jr., Sr. or Open classes EXCEPT for cart classes. 8. Youth Decorating: Class # 089: Decorating for show is done in the ring. 30 minute time limit. Will be judged on overall neatness and degree of completion. 9. Belgian, Clydesdale, Percheron, Shire or unregistered Draft GELDINGS will compete together in appropriate gelding halter classes (i.e. Draft Horse gelding halter classes will not be split by breed). 10. TRAVEL MONEY FOR ENTRIES IN THE OPEN SIX HORSE HITCH CLASS # 086 will be granted one time to each ownership entity, post show, by Oklahoma State Fair: a) Up to 250 miles: $250.00 b) 251 to 500 miles: $500.00; c) 500 plus miles: $750.00 (Distance determined by city of origin of horses and/or owners as listed on entries to Oklahoma City and as provided by an Internet map/direction source.)

11. PREMIUM CODE DEFINITIONS AND PAYOUT SCALE FOR DRAFT DESIGNATED CLASSES EXCLUDING CHAMPIONSHIP HALTER CLASSES:      

ALL classes with one/single entry (horse and/or hitch) will be eligible for the class entry fee (only) being paid, exclusive of any late entry fees that may have been paid, regardless of applied Premium Code. Classes with three (3) or less entries (entered AND shown) will be eligible for 50% of applied premiums: The Premium Code will be designated by a letter in ( ) after each applicable class unless otherwise noted. Premium code (a) applies to ALL Draft Horse Halter classes (001 – 027 inclusive) with the exceptions: NO premiums paid to Championship or Supreme Halter Classes and unless otherwise noted. Amount and distribution of premiums (prize money) will be based on actual number of entries entered, shown and judged in each class. Refer to premium code after each class and premium definitions and scale below. EXCEPTION: NASHHCS Classes #’d 028, 043 and 122 will be paid in accordance with NASHHCS specifications. There will be no additional entry OK State Fair entry fee for the NASHHCS classes. However, entries in these classes will not be eligible for the free tack stalls previously noted unless also entered in other classes prior to 8-15-2012.

GYPSY and DRUM HORSE DIVISION 2131 RULES 1.

This show will be run in accordance with the rules defined by and available on the web site of the Gypsy Show Horse Association. http://www.gypsyshowhorse.com/competitions/rules-and-regulations1/ Exception: If you want your OK points to count toward the GSHA Awards Program then you must be a member of the GSHA. Otherwise, all GSHA fees [and membership requirements] will be waived. It is important that you read, understand and enter in accordance with these rules with special attention to the rules governing cross entering of classes. (General Rules; Definition Competitions, Rule 10.)

2. All horses entered in any class designated for Gypsy horses must be considered a full blood Gypsy horse and registered as a purebred Gypsy, and must be duly registered as such and be registered within at least one of the following registries/associations and provide a current legible copy of the registration certificate with show entries verifying registration status, age, gender and current ownership: a) Gypsy Vanner Horse Society (hereinafter referred to as GVHS) b) Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association (GCDHA) c) Gypsy Horse Registry of America (hereinafter referred to as GHRA) d) Gypsy Horse Association (GHA) 3. No cross entering between Draft/Gypsy/Drum classes with the following exceptions: Classes designated Open/Farm (#032, 033, 034, 036 and 044). 4. Horses entered in Drum Horse Halter Classes (#059 through #063 inclusive) or class # 079 or #110 must be registered as a Drum horse with either the GCDHA or ADHA. Copies of registration papers verifying registry status and current ownership must be submitted with entries. No Youth handlers in Classes # 061 or 062. 5. Liberty Class # 044: a) This is intended to be a fun class showing the natural beauty, elegance and animation of the Gypsy and/or Drum horse and is not necessarily considered breed association sanctioned or approved. Placings will be determined by the Judge, and the Judge may request assistance from the audience. Owner to provide an original CD (copies may not function) with their selection of music inclusive of designation as to which track, owner’s name and horse’s name and back #. Must be provided at the start of the session ending with class # 042. b) Handler/exhibitor with back number brings the single/entered horse into the arena and will release the horse at the start of the music. Judging and timing starts when the horse is released. There will be 1 ½ minutes of “liberty,” during which time, handler and one assistant, if desired, can be in the arena with the horse to encourage safe movement and action of the horse. a) Premiums/prize money will be made payable to the RECORDED owner of each horse (or) PAYEE as indicated on the entry form and mailed to the address as provided on the entry form. Premiums/prize money will not be issued without a current year W-9 form completed for the individual to be paid premiums, included with the original entry. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to insure that the OSF is in possession of a current year, valid, correct and legible W-9 form. Checks for premiums will not be processed or mailed without that document, and OSF will not be responsible for obtaining same. Exhibitors should expect 30 days or more after the close of the OSF for premium checks to be mailed. b) Premiums/prize money will NOT be mailed to any exhibitors with balances due on their accounts or having submitted dishonored checks to OSF. All Miniature Donkeys must be registered within at least one of the following registries/associations: ADMS, IMDR, ACOSA or IMAD. A copy of the registration papers verifying current ownership, gender and age must be submitted with the original entries. 3. Maximum height for animals entered in the Miniature Donkey classes is 36”. 4. All donkeys entered in any jumping or driving classes must be three (3) years old or older, using st st calendar year age as of January 1 . (i.e. not actual age on January 1 .) 5. Donkeys must be at least six months of age at time of show. 6. Exhibitors age 18 years and under may not show a jack in the show ring or be in control of a jack while on the show grounds. 7. Prizes will be awarded for Champion and Reserve Champion Halter; High Point and Reserve High Point for Open and Green. a.
