Associations:  Santa Gertrudis Breeders International Rules:  All exhibits of Santa Gertrudis breeding cattle must be registered meeting the requirements for registration as outlined in the Santa Gertrudis Rules and Regulations for registration, and shall be governed by the last revised version of the Rules and Regulations for Approved Santa Gertrudis Open & Junior Shows as approved by Santa Gertrudis Breeders International, PO Box 1257, Kingsville, TX 78364. A copy may be obtained by contacting the association or viewed at .  Heifers may be entered in the open show by paying entry fees.  The heifer must be registered in the name of the Junior exhibitor prior to July 1 of the current year.  Any animal with a pending or applied for registration or without a legible tattoo will not be eligible for show competition.  All entries are subject to provisions and rules for showing as set forth by the SGBI.  Dress for showing in an approved SGBI show shall be of clean and neat clothing of collared shirts and club emblem (4-H or FFA). 4-H and FFA jackets are acceptable but not required. T-shirts, tennis shoes and headwear are not allowed.  All accounts of owner must be in financial good standing to be eligible to enter the show ring. Premium Information:  Premiums will be paid in all classes except division and overall championship classes.  Individual Class Premiums: $45, $35, $25, $15, $5 Entry Information:  Owner’s W-9 form must be included with entry.  Entries can be made online or mailed in. Online entries close August 15, credit card payments can only be taken online. Fees:  Required  $30.00 per head (if postmarked or entered online by August 15)  $60.00 per head (if postmarked after August 15 & by September 1)  Additional  Equipment permit - $30.00  Additional Tickets (pre-order for immediate family members) $7.00 adult single day ticket, $4.00 child single day ticket (ages 11-6) or an Exhibitor Ticket Bundle (4 single day tickets) for $20.00 if postmarked by September 1, 2012. Also may purchase Season Pass for $25.00 good for all 11 days.  Exhibitor will receive an armband(s) per the scale in the Open & Junior General Livestock Rules.
