Maktub (Illustrated by Joong Hwan Hwangm) Maktub (a word which means “it’s written” in Arabic) is not a self-help book, but rather an exchange of experiences between the author and his readers. The material, originally published between 1993 and 1994 in the Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo, has been printed now in a careful edition illustrated with extreme sensibility by Korean artist Joong Hwan Hwangm.
