Elektrikle çalışan Volkswagen minibüs tek şarjla 440 kilometre yol alabiliyor ve tamamen sürücüsüz bir deneyime olanak sağlıyor. Radar, kameralar, ultrasonik sensörler ve lidar ekipmanlarla desteklenen sürücüsüz teknoloji, direksiyon panelinde tek tuşla aktive edilebiliyor. Gaz ya da frene dokunulduğunda ise manuel moda dönülebiliyor. Uzun yolculuğu sevenler için arka bölüm oldukça geniş. Ahşap zemine raylı sistemle entegre edilmiş açılabilir koltuklar mevcut ve orta bölüm için bir de masa düşünülmüş. İç mekandaki yenilikler arasında konsolda ayrılabilir bir tablet kullanılmış. Navigasyon gibi ihtiyaçlar bu sayede giderilebiliyor. Volkswagen’in konsept araçları arasında SEDRIC isimli kişisel asistan olarak kullanılacak bir tasarımı daha var. Dev OLED gözlere sahip araç, sürüşten ziyade küçük nakliye ve taşıma amaçlı. 5’inci seviye sürücüsüz teknolojiye sahip olan yani sürücü gözetimi olmadan herhangi bir coğrafi bölgede kullanılabilecek Sedric uzaktan kumanda edilebiliyor. Çocukları okula bırakmak, gezintiye çıkarmak, kuru temizlemeden giysileri almak gibi asistanlık servisleri için ideal.

The Volkswagen minibus works on electricity and covers 440 kilometers with a single charge, enabling entirely driverless experience. Manual mode is activated back by touching the gas or brakes. The rear seats provide a spacious long distance experience. The concept cars of Volkswagen includes the new personal assistant SEDRIC. The car with huge OLED eyes is designed for lowscale transportation and carriage. With its 5th grade driverless technology requires no driver supervision to use on any given terrain with remote control. It is ideal for assistant services like taking the kids to school, taking them on a ride, or picking up clothes from dry cleaner’s.
