Materials + Adaptability
The guidelines for the product were defined by the companyâ€™s brief. However, our product intend to defy some industrial and technological limitations. We conceive our design based on the sophistication of Italian design mixed with an industrial definition of the shape.
The product was designed based on two main ideas: First, facility to produce, and Secondly, to offer sufficient visual and shape codes to decrease effort from user in terms of assemble and technical knowledge.
In addition we developed a product with some references of the industrial production in the metal industry. Our understanding of the manufacturing process gave us guidelines to define the shape and the technology.
Detail Design Process
The lamp and the pipe are individual components.
All connection system goes inside.
The product is designed by layers for production efficiency.
In addition, the digital points are highlighted to improve the usability.

Table Lamp Disposition
The lamp has been created as a module that fits in a complex family of products such as table lamp, floor lamp, suspension lamp and wall lamp.
In addition, using aluminum and steel frame will help to disperse the temperature of the led system.
The acrylic in the diffuser area gave the product an opportunity to be handled by a secure zone.#

Escenica is a new proposal of kitchens for ELMAR company. Our concept is based on the idea of adding new cooking values.
In the first place, we subtract values from the show of cooking in the way that the users are the main actors for the scene in the kitchen.

Additionally, a person has opportunity to complement the products that are already owned at home with Escenica Kitchen..
By tracing the lines of eating habits, we developed a subsequent structure of how the product interact with those activities.

Limitations of movement? Does it support kitchen appliances?
What to storage?
Understanding Movement The motion of the kitchen was a key point to understand. It has to be simple but versatile.
Drawers, cutting surfaces, preparation module, and a freezer were contemplated at the time of design.
In addition, kitchen appliances were supported with connection and storage unit.
Being a compact system, Escenica kitchen has the ability to fit in multiple scenarios without interfering with any specific environment.
Electrical connection system
The kitchen has possibilities to connect with multiple appliances in order to make easier multiple activities around cook and serve any meal.
Furthermore, it has a micro freezer which helps to keep vegetables and fruits the best quality possible.

Also, a mock up was developed to show Elmar company representative the different possibilities of Escenica in use.

Our team design this concept thinking on the current needs of the office user. Moreover, the fact that mobile devices, usb ports support and electricity defined the places of functionality.
In addition, the concept was planned as a modular desk, making the product more efficient when the costumer design the office environment.
The division panels are design to be used individually by the user in order to make more efficient the work space.
INTERNSHIP Internship developed as a part of my MSc Program. I worked developing three different projects.

â€œTuboâ€? Faucet Project. In this project, the process of my work was to develop a faucet shape which were efficient in term of production and aesthetics.
The project tried to recall a bended tube which kept the softness of the surface and the material.

Lamp Metallic Thread In this project the goal was to generate multiple proposals for a project based on the rolled thread technology.
The Technology was focused on limited shapes, but the study of the product gave us opportunity to develop further complex shapes.

recall luxury and high class environments without losing the essence of the minimal concept of the interior design.

Design process In the process of understanding the materials behavior and production we designed a product focused on the possibilities of the materials. The first version was a mixture between wood (in this
case bamboo) and ceramic. After evaluation, the project was refined to improve appearance in order to increase value and richness.

KaListo born with the idea of a perfect diet. This simple device will help the user to understand the measure of how much energy is consumed.

When the wave is studied many things come trough. The wave is present in multiple things even in physics that surround us.
This concept was done to define a simple object that is connected with a shape that define many realities in our day to day life.
TRIADA KITCHEN HOOD
Design Concept developed with Lina RodrĂguez for the design contest of Cristal Plant in association with Elica Italy.
At the beginning, we started to understand what was happening on the current portfolio of Elicaâ€™s kitchen hoods. Meanwhile, spend some time discovering the limitations of the material created by Cristal Plant.
After multiple evaluations of the shape we worked in a concept which was founded under the principles of minimalism and simplicity without loosing its formal language.
Design Concept The limitations around materials and technologies gave us the tools to define the shape and its components.
We conceive that the product can be improve in therms of morphology and aesthetics in order to improve its viability for the company.
