Perform – Workshops Way Of: Communicating – Winning Telephone Techniques Course Outline This course is for anyone who speaks with external customers or stakeholders on a regular basis, usually over the telephone.

Learn how to handle any kind of conversation with poise, professionalism and positivity. Explore what makes a positive customer experience and why this is so important to our business. Practice how to use your words, tone and body language to get a win-win solution. This course replaces the Telephone Techniques course covering these essential skills and so much more. This is a half day course running from 09:30 – 13:00.

Perform – Workshops Way Of Communicating - Handling Complaints and Difficult Calls Need to Know:

Course Outline This course is for anyone who wants to grow in confidence in handling customer complaints. We all love to give great customer service. Inevitably, there will be times when customers may express dissatisfaction with a product or service that we have provided. We’ll explore the nature of complaints and how to resolve them, styles of communication and different types of people and challenges that you might face.

This course is for anyone who wants to improve their confidence in delivering effective and memorable presentations and training. We will explore best practice for structuring presentations, considering your audience, writing content and designing visual aids. We will also provide you with tips for managing anxiety, engaging with your audience and effective body language.

This course is mandatory for anyone who is involved with our recruitment, selection and interview process. This course covers all stages of the interview and selection process from reviewing CVs, through to effective questioning, selection and feedback.

Lead – Workshops Way Of: Managing Performance Course Outline

How do you define, measure and manage performance? We start with setting goals. How to do it right and in line with business and area objectives. We look at how we measure performance and define whether someone should be managed, re-engaged or developed and how you can do each of these things effectively. We explore giving and receiving feedback and ways to make this a positive experience.

Lead – Workshops Way Of: Having Winning Conversations Course Outline

Some conversations we have to have as managers are tricky. This course replaces the previous Difficult Conversations and Assertiveness courses and covers a whole lot more. We will explore what makes a conversation and the psychology as to why, giving you a better understanding of yourself and others. What you should consider before, during and after a conversation to get the best outcome for you and the individual. We’ll explore passive, aggressive and assertive behaviour, and the courage and consideration you need for win-win conversations

Lead – Programmes Management Development Programme (MDP) Course Outline

Need to Know:

Our MDP Programme, delivered by Elearn is mapped to the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and gives you a recognised management qualification.

Dates: TBC (annually)

Over a period of several months you will attend inspiring workshops and complete assignments to gain your qualification.

Eligibility: You must have a line manager nomination and have been managing people for at least 6 months to attend this course

You will also be involved in one of our strategic projects to put your newly learned skills to the test, stretch yourself and improve our business and community. Mindfulness Mondays are held in the Library every Monday starting 21st May at 12:00 and 13:00. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
