more. “I have a background in design, and have always been interested in the intersection between design, food, wine—I wanted to create a space that celebrated all of these things,” says Goldsteen. “I came across this little Spanish-style building, and I thought it was the perfect place to try out this hybrid concept that showcases food and entertaining-related retail and also has an outdoor patio where we could serve wine and have events.” Items sourced from all over the globe include Moroccan pillows and textiles (from $225), linens from France (from $28), Portland-based Pok Pok Som drinking vinegars ($15), and of course, locally made Four Leaf Woodshop items (from $12). “The ethos behind what we stock is that they should be made with a sense of integrity and also have a joie de vivre,” says Goldsteen.
