Maruti Alto price goes up by Rs 4200 to 5900
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the country's largest passenger car maker has finally made an official announcement about the increase of price for all the Maruti car models. Follow the rise in excise duty to 12 per cent from 10 per cent in budget 2012-13, the company has increased the Maruti car prices by Rs. 3500 to 17000. Maruti has increased the prices for each variant of the entry level small car Maruti 800 to mid-size sedan Maruti SX4.

Maruti Alto price has been increased by Rs 4200 to Rs 5900 more. Maruti Alto is being sold in both petrol and CNG models and each model has three variants. Now the base variant of the petrol model of the flagship small car will be available at Rs 3.14 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
Including all the variants of CNG model, now Maruti Alto price is between Rs 3.14 lakh to Rs 3.30 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi. See More Maruti Alto Car News
On the other hand, Alto's successor Maruti Alto K10 price has also been increased by Rs 5500 to Rs 5700. It has two variants such as LXI and VXI. Now the base LXI variant of the Maruti Alto K10 has starting price tag of Rs 3.14 lakh, while the top-end VXI variant comes at Rs 3.30 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The company's oldest model, Maruti 800 is now dearer by Rs 3500 to Rs 3900. And all the variant of this small car will be available between Rs. 2.04 lakh and Rs 2.40 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi. Right this small car is being sold in Tear-II and Tear-III cities. See More Maruti Alto User Reviews
