From the city of Funchal (Madeira) early on I’ve got involved in the areas of Arts and languages, culminating in the publication of drawings in “Diário de Notícias” of Madeira, in 1997. At the age of 18 years I headed to the city of Porto where I attended the master in architecture from the Faculty of architecture of the University of Porto, together with professional experience in the area of communication. In the professional level I seek the pro-activeness, rigour and continuous learning.

A student‘s residence dormitory for reseachers at an unique triangle in the middle of the urban historical center of Oporto. It’s reclassification led to a dinamized interaction between diferent generations, adding a coffeshop able to open it to the public citizens.

The shape of the letter “F� establishes architectural problems, introducing to multifamily housing issues. There were analyzed and developed gable corner assays, intersection and open top. Subsequently the module has been developed to 1:50 scale. (Unfortunately the technical drawings of the project were lost).

The last phase of the subject ‘Project III’ combines a public housing T1, T2 and T3 belonging to the main façade of the rotunda of Boavista in Oporto. In order to create a higher interest level program, I added a space equipment, including a coffee shop and a multipurpose space for exhibitions. (Unfortunately the technical drawings of the project were lost).

Recreating an outfit comprising a library and its adjacent spaces. The analysis and study of this issue involved more aesthetic considerations and materials, as well as functional, represented in drawings and pictures of the models studied since the scale deployment until the constructive detail.

‘Project V’ reclassified a urban system in the city of Oporto: Areosa. In the final phase of the study were presented solutions that insert a new tunnel to improve the access road at rush hour. The damaged building was also reclassified trying to create a new functional dynamic of new uses and housing, even inserting a green area surrounding the void.

In order to complete the master’s degree architecture studies in FAUP, I presented the analisys of the studio: RCR Architectes (not yet developed at Portugal academic field). After visiting the finished works, (communicated by unpublished photographs) research, the contact with other 2 languages ​​(Spanish and English), this thesis was classified with 17 points on 20-07-2012.

Within the European city of culture 2012, guimarães hosted the exhibition “Fernando Távora Permanent Modernity”. I’ve captured images of the inauguration (17-11-2012), to present for the House of Architecture, the organization and sponsoring bodies from the exibition.

The publication of the interview “A Conversation with RCR Arquitectes: Atmospheric Essences” in the architecture magazine “Arq.a”, number 104 (Nov / Dec 2012) is to disclose part of the results obtained during the investigation of the dissertation in the field of architectural theory and completing it with a photographic record unheard of selected works.
