The road to the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado started some 1,600 miles away, in Tallahassee, Florida, for Nate Kaegebein, Scott McClung and Charlie Berger. That’s where the trio that would later emerge as one of the most prominent custom home building firms in and around Aspen first pooled its considerable talent, retrofitting dorm rooms while earning degrees at Florida State University.
