To Brooke and Geordy, family was the single most important aspect of their wedding. Made up of only family members, even the bridal party was a reflection of their commitment and connection to their loved ones; Brooke’s sister was maid of honor and Geordy’s 92 year old grandfather was best man, repaying the favor for when Geordy had stood up for him when he remarried years ago. Their Officiant, Judge Michael Anello had married Brooke’s parents. Brooke’s Mother, a local artist, painted a rendition of Brooke’s gown for display and the day took on even more meaning as Brooke’s ailing Grandmother was able to see her beloved granddaughter marry. Poppy’s toast at the reception stole the show, bringing a laugh and tear to everyone’s eye. All in all, the event was a rich and heartfelt celebration, and a reminder, of the things that truly matter: love and family, all brought together for an amazing and perfect day.
