What is it? Google Sketchup is a 3D modeling program marketed by Google and designed for architectural, civil, and mechanical engineers as well as filmmakers, game developers, and similar careers. SketchUp debuted in August 2000 as a general purpose 3D content creation tool, with the tagline "3D for Everyone" and envisioning a software program that would allow design professionals to draw the way they want by emulating the feel and freedom of working with pen and paper in a simple and elegant interface, that would be fun to use and easy to learn, and that would be used by designers to play with their designs in a way that is not possible with traditional design software. It also has user friendly buttons to make it easier to use

Making a house Step one: Start with making a square by clicking the square button

Step Two: Click the push/ pull button on the tool bar and pull up

Step Three: To make a door. Click the square button and make another square on any side of the house you’d like

Step Four: Once you have the door click the push pull button again and click the door and push it in just a little bit. Once you have that hit the delete button on your keyboard

Step five: Click the push pull button and raise the top of your house up to start making the ceiling

Step Six: Click the pencil on the left side of the tool bar. Pick any side of the house and click on the midpoint of the top side, click and drag to a reasonable length for a roof to start, and then do the same for the other side

Step Seven: click the push/pull button and push each of the triangles back to make them disappear

There are many other different things that this software allows you to do. You can make windows, add shingles, siding, grass, furniture, etc.
