Logo

General public

Colour scheme: Earthy Colours, Blues, Browns and greens.

Earthy Colour Scheme fits well with theme of project. The simple minimalistic design isn’t specific to a target audience and fits the idea of a General audience nicely.

Style: Minimalistic, Simple Design. Unique Vector Based Must mention Fair Deal Photoshop, illustrator

Swap advert

General public

Must look professional. Same colour scheme as logo; Earthy, Natural Colours. Style: Simple, Clean, Earthy Vector based graphics Possible use of video or animations within swap advert. Must use logo.

A simple style also helps to convey a sense of professionalism that a cartoon logo would not. Fair Deal Strap line helps to create uniqueness and identity. Illustrator has a wide variety of vector tools and I am very familiar with Photoshop. Making them ideal choices for producing my logo. Keeping a similar colour scheme throughout all of my publications adds continuity and creates an identity for the campaign as whole and not individual publications. Vector graphics allow the graphics to be displayed at any size and resolution without pixilation. Since the swap advert is aimed at a general audience they would vary in reading ability and presenting information in different ways would appeal to a wider audience than if all of the

Swaps demonstrated by pictures of each product and then a picture of a corresponding fair trade product.

Simple, clean style suits the general audience well because it doesn’t specifically tailor to any audience. Sans serif fonts are simple and elegant; they suit the Clean design theme well. PowerPoint contains all the features necessary to create a swap advert.

Continued Colour scheme. Professional Look

Sony Vegas used to edit. Must include self created music.

A clean, sensible style suits the target Audience well because adults don’t tend to be attracted by childish fonts and Cartoon images. Sony Vegas is industry Standard video production software that I am very familiar with and would therefore be more efficient than using a piece of software that I am unfamiliar with and would have to learn to use. Because my promotional movie is aimed at adults I will most likely include a slower, more Mature piece

of music than say a piece of dance music which would not suit my target audience.

Information point

Teenagers

Professional Look Must include logo Include images of Fairly traded products Continued Colour Scheme Use of bullet points Mediator used to produce information point

Professional Look makes the audience take the campaign seriously Logo will be used on all documents to promote continuity A continued colour scheme makes all documents seem like one campaign and not separate publications. Bullet points convey information in small bites; this is suitable for the information point because a large chunk of text is unattractive. It also suits the target audience as I doubt teenagers enjoy reading large amounts of text and the bullet point’s break up the information and make it more palatable Mediator has all the features needed to produce an information point and can display the compositions full screen. I am also familiar with this piece of software.
