Infected By Art Book Contest/USA,2016 Infected By Art is the only art contest that connects artists to a Global Audience through its On-Line submissions and Internet preview. International Competition for an Illustrated Children's Book Projed, Second Edicion/ Poland ,2016 Open worldwide to both newcomers and experienced artists, participating individually or in a team. Participants need to be at least 18.. Deadline: 15 December 2016..Organised by the Dwie Siostry Publishing House, the second edition of the Clairvoyants International Competition for an illustrated children book will continue to cherish the ideas and values that had underlain its first edition: to launch the process of creating beautiful and valuable books for children and to discover talented artists and give them chance to become known on the Polish and international book market. The purpose of the competition is to prepare a project (draft) of an illustrated children book in Polish or in English language. Submitted works should include a script or a storyboard of the whole book, together with 3 finished double spreads and the cover. Submitted projects will be assessed according to the following criteria: artistic quality of the work, originality, the form which inspires child's imagination and the content which takes into account child's sensitivity. Deadline for entries 15. November 2016 Theme:Those people who put their own, momentary interest before the interest of a long livable planet are making a mistake. Some are satisfied when they pay the price of their over consumption or their destruction and they fail to realize, that they cause irreversible damage with their selfish behavior. Many people often feel they deserve something because they paid for it, but do we really deserve everything we paid for? Awards I. prize: 300 € II. prize: 200 € III. prize: 100 € General rules Entries can be sent via post or e-mail to the organiser of the contest. Size of entries received by post should be A/3. Cartoons sent by emails should be in JPG format (300 dpi), sized at about 2500 pixels wide if in portrait format and 3500 pixels wide if in landscape format. Competition details All participants must be 14 or older. Previously published cartoons are not allowed for submission. The 10th INT’L CARTOON CONTEST URZICENI 2016 RULES: 1. The 10th ICC Urziceni is an open competition for cartoonists all over the world. The participation is free of charge. 2. The artworks must be presented in a FREE THEME or/and on THE THEME –THE INNOCENCE . 3. Deadline: 18 November 2016. 4. You can submit max 5 works for FREE THEME and max 5 works for THEME SECTION. The cartoons must not contain text. The name of the cartoons must contain the entrant’s family name, country and title of work (in english). The works must be digitized in 300 DPI resolution, RGB color mode, in JPG format, with the maximum limit of 2 MB. 5. XVI International Salón Humor Santa Clara 2016 The humoristic monthly Melaito and the Cuban Association of Authors and Artists (UNEAC) in Villa Clara, call for the XVI International Salon Humor Santa Clara 2016. Regulations: The themes for the salon will be “free” and “erotic”. The works must not exceed 25 x 35 cm in any technique including printed copies of digital images, the Organizing Committee will print digital images selected for the competition, received by email in jpg, with 300 ppi resolution, . Tridimensional works should not exceed 50 x 50 cm on any side. Each participant can send a maximum of three works for each theme.
