Vermont THE PAST TO THE PRESENT Wareen's Gore

Gores are small unincorporated parts of the country that are not part of any town.

Warren's Gore is a gore located in Essex County, Vermont. Originally chartered to be part of the Town of Warren in 1789, the charter provided two areas of land, one of which became the gore and the other the town. Warren's Gore has an area of 11.4 square miles and contains the majority of Norton Pond. The gore has had a population since 1970 and as of the census in 2000 there were 10 people in total living there. Both VT Route 114 and the railroad run through the gore. A significant forested elevation can be reached both by train and by advanced hikers. Hikers can traverse the area using the Middle Mountain Trail which opened in 2015 and starts across from Hurricane Road off VT 114.

It’s against the law to discriminate when advertising housing related activities. Particularly on sites like Craigslist. And it’s easier to break the law than you might think. You can’t say “no children” or “adults only.” There is lots you can’t say. The federal government is watching for such discrimination. Let us help you sift through the complexities of the Fair Housing Law. Stay legal. Stay on the right side of the nation’s Fair Housing Law. Call the St. Albans Messenger, 802-524-9771 ext 117 or 122.
