SD SAMANTHA DONEN

My objective was to design a dog pack to fit the ergonomic needs of a dog, or their pet owner, on any outdoor adventure. On the following pages, viewers will see the prototype for the first pack I have designed. This pack has dual bags that sit comfortably on either side of a dogs back and rest in a position where the dog still has free movement of their forearms and shoulders. The bags have access zippers on the top side of the pack so one can access the bags when the dog is wearing it. When an owner is wearing the pack, the pack is designed to curve around the waist and hip area so that the bags rest on the side. I added a strap that can go over the shoulder for the dog owner and an adjustable strap for the waist area. When worn by the owner, there are zippers on the outside of the packs so one can access the bags when worn vertically. This is just the beginning of my voyage into the world of dog packs that are comfortable, convenient, and functional for outdoor day adventures with a dog and their owner.
