Professional Experience:

Project Lead/Architect Glen + Company November 2012 – Present (5 months)

Acclaimed NYC designer/architect Glen Coben presented me with the opportunity to work with him on high-end projects throughout NYC and beyond of various scales and programs. We strove to tailor fit each project while telling a narrative that was developed from the beginning with the client and manifested in a deliverable product. Scales of design include offices, branding and protoyping, and service/hospitality work.


Professional Experience Continued: Project Architect / BIM Manager PPA Architects April 2011 – November 2012 (1 year 8 months)

Primarily responsible for the development of high-rise hospitality projects in Manhatten from concept through construction. Became the ofice leader in prospective project development studies, BIM management and implementation standards and worked on site and through meetings to ensure quality project delivery. Project architect for a luxury boutique 180-key hotel under construction on 38th street, The Archer, to be completed in January 2014. Coordinated work with owner, contractor and consultants, developed construction details and directed BIM throughout the project life cycle.

Design Architect noroof architects July 2010 – March 2011 (9 months)

Working directly with the firm partners on project proposals in the conceptual phase. Responsible for research and development of programming and building systems developed into 3D models, drawings and graphics.

Junior Architect C Concept Design January 2010 – April 2010 (4 months)

A fast-paced office providing feasibility, schematic and as-built studies to the Netherlands and surrounding region. Working on numerous scales and media, including an art museum, masterplanning, private residence and historic renovation in an international setting.

Junior Digital Design Technical Architect SOM NY June 2008 – December 2008 (7 months)

Working with super-tall industry leader Nicholas Holt, with a dedicated and disciplined team, on a 340m+ tall tower in Malaysia as a BIM manager and project lead for core design and development. This project is a $1.4-billion mixed-use, first class project developed under intense client and public scrutiny to the highest level of design as is expected of a leading design service firm.

An award winning young firm in UK (2-time RIBA award winners), engaged me to work directly with the partners making presentation models and visuals for media and clients and to assist with daily ofice management.


Project Architect Various Programs Glen & Company

Conceptual and development design lead of various high-end projects in a small design driven NYC office. Design proposals, site visits, client interaction, material and supplier research, and project management experience garnered while working closely with director, Glen Coben.


Project Lead Manhattan, NY Hospitality PPA Architects Lead designer and co-manager from schematic design through permit approval process. Includes meeting with clients, coordination w/consultants and submitting project through NYC DOB HUB.


LAUSD Design Competition Los Angeles, California USA Educational noroof architects Design lead for a 25K charter school utilizing a set of modular components and design criteria.

Hope College Art Museum Holland, Michigan USA Cultural C Concept Design Schematic design development lead on a 10,000 sf art museum. The program required flexible spaces to house permanent and temporary collections.

One IFC Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Super-Tall Mixed Use Tower Schematic Design SOM NY Lead core designer for super-tall mixeduse tower. File and software (Revit 2009) management/coordination. Code research, site access and development, hotel and residential layouts involving schedule making, area counts and drawing standards.


Presentation Boards Conference Room - Manhattan, NY Weekly Client Meetings PPA Architects Each week to facilitate concise and directed meetings I produced a series of boards related to the meeting agenda.
