LOT 169 Medical Pharmaceutical Display Case, circa late 1800s-early 1900s, “Raw Materials Drug Display”. This oak Display Cabinet contains 288 hinged lid, lithographed tin containers with glass domes on top for content viewing. This was given by the Parke-Davis Drug Co. for the identification of source materials. This case has a paper label under the hinged lid with the Numerical Index for Students of Medicine and Pharmacy. The tin containers are numbered to match the numbered listings on the index label. This four drawered case with cast iron handles measures 28 1/2” L x 14 1/2” T x 19” W. Very rare and difficult to find! This is our first.
