Research, reports and journal articles 1.1 ‘Global estimates of modern slavery: forced labour and forced marriage’ (September 2017) This report draws on the global estimates of modern slavery with a particular focus on forced labour and forced marriage. It is a collaborative piece between the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and Walk Free Foundation in partnership with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). 1.2 ‘Combating modern slavery experienced by Vietnamese nationals en route to, and within, the UK’ (September 2017) The Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner commis­ sioned research which explored the dynamics of Vietnamese nationals’ exploitation en route to and within the United Kingdom (UK).
