One year I had to deliver a workshop, one year due to the fact that the conference was up North I felt that it was imperative that I attended to support the event heading to Aviemore. The very first time it was because I was new to the local sports council so they felt it would give me a clearer idea of what SALSC's remit was. The reason I havent attended over recent years is because the workshops have not been that appealing, I am under immense work pressures so need to prioritise, due to budget cuts I can only attend limited conferences throughout the year and feel that the Sports Dev sportscotland conferences are more beneficial.
